Story
The Caribou puppies are a very friendly bunch much like their beautiful, big, sweet mama. They were born on their way to Labs and More so arrived just in time. Caribou is a lovely girl with a confident and friendly demeanor. She has unique coloring and we believe her to be a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog, Border Collie and Australian Shepherd. We don't know who their dad was but believe these puppies also look to have some Lab and Shepherd in them and will be large dogs when done growing. They are currently having lots of fun in their foster home where they are well socialized around dogs, cats and kids and love to play and snuggle with newcomers. Novaya is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Caribou pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER IN CARLSBAD. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT THEM TO MEET SWIPER: 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Swiper is available for adoption or foster. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 pm to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet Swiper at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Swiper's ID number, which is A1917305. Who says large dogs can't be perfect gentlemen? Swiper, a neutered white and black Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, is living proof that gentlemanly dogs sometimes wear a size XL! From the moment you meet this handsome, calm soul with striking blue eyes, your blood pressure will drop because when you're near Swiper, you can't help but feel the calming energy that he puts out into the universe. This polite and respectful fellow is relaxed and very easy-going around people. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, knows several doggie commands, and does all that he can to stay house-trained despite living in a shelter kennel. Swiper loves to get and give affection, but that doesn't mean he constantly needs attention; he sometimes appreciates having some time to himself to play with toys, rest and relax, and daydream. In addition to being house-trained, he is up to date on vaccinations, weighs 93 lbs., and is three years old. If you're looking to add a calm, kind, affectionate, and gentle spirit to your family, Swiper is waiting for you. You can meet Swiper at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Story
Meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Hugo is thinking about coming to an adoption event near you very soon. If you’d like to learn more about this pup and their fluffy friends who are looking for their furever homes, check out our website: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/dogs/ If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/adopt/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. We are excited to meet you at our upcoming adoption event! Contact before event: Sandra Garcia T (408) 477-0553.
