He thrives in a peaceful, low-traffic home where his personal space is respected and life stays nice and brine and easy. New people and dogs can be a bit jar-ring for Pickles, so he's best suited for a quieter home with older kids only, who should be present for the meet-and-greet. He's selective with canine companions and may prefer being the only pickle in the jar, though a shelter meet-and-greet is needed if there's a potential dog sibling. Having spent much of his time outdoors, Pickles would benefit from a securely fenced yard as he transitions into home life. With patience and consistency, he'll stick by his person and prove himself a truly spec-tacular companion.
