Meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Hugo is thinking about coming to an adoption event near you very soon. If you’d like to learn more about this pup and their fluffy friends who are looking for their furever homes, check out our website: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/dogs/ If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/adopt/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. Once nursed to health, Igor traveled up to Texas to his foster home! Igor is an amazing guardian dog who would love to have the job of protecting a farm/land, but also enjoys cuddles and having a family. He is the full package for a family searching for a great pyrenees to keep their property protected with a loyal pup! Igor is nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Story
How this pet arrived: Claude was brought in by his previous owner. At SDHS:Claude has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Since arriving at the Escondido Campus on February 6th, 2024, Claude has undergone a remarkable transformation. Initially displaying fearfulness through loud barking, Claude has since evolved into a gentle giant, thanks to the dedicated care he has received. Staff members have grown fond of Claude as he walks gracefully on his leash, relishing moments to explore and sniff around on his walks. Over time, Claude has learned to greet new people with a wagging tail, indicating his growing confidence and trust. Ideal for a home with a spacious yard for him to roam freely, Claude seeks a comfortable place to rest his head each night. In his previous home, Claude had difficulty sharing treats, food and toys. Claude would do best in a home with no children under 12 and no other pets. Claude is bouncy, happy, and BIG and he's looking for a new home where he can be his very best self. Dog Reactive Dog:  This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS VIDEO to learn more about them.Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS VIDEO to learn more about them.SPONSORED FEEGreat news! Claude had a secret admirer who has sponsored his adoption fee! This means that the adoption fee has already been paid for by someone who wants to help Claude find a home. Story
Burt was rescued from the pound where he was stuck in a 8x8 area. We couldn't help but be instantly connected to him as he was so angelic. He's a very sweet young man and a total fluffball! Great Pyrenees, by breed, are well mannered, devoted, and calm. The breed originally comes from the France side of the Pyrenees mountains that separate France and Spain as a livestock guardian dog protecting livestock from predators such as coyotes, bears, and wolves. The Great Pyrenees is an ancient breed with origins dating back to 1800 B.C.! Great Pyrenees are majestic dogs with strong bodies, broad chests, muscular shoulders and thighs, and rounded, close-cupped, feet with well-padded toes. Their coats are are dirt and tangle resistant which would only require minimum grooming. Let us know if you would like to set up a meet and greet today!

Story
Apollo is 1 almost 2 years old. His birthday is October 10th. He is super sweet and has a big personality. The king of side eyes if you get up and move to a new spot. He loves to cuddle next to you on the couch or by your feet. He is very calm for only being a year old. When he gets his zoomies make sure to not have liquids by technology. He doesn't realize how big he is and can knock some things over if not left high enough. He has three favorite toys and enjoys wearing shirts from time to time. Apollo is kennel-trained, but can be hard to handle on a leash. He loves making new friends, whether its people or other animals. He always likes to say hello.
