Meet Finland — a gentle, soft-hearted two-year-old boy who’s figuring out life in a home and already proving what an amazing dog he’s going to be. Finland isn’t afraid of people, but he is very timid right now as he adjusts to his new surroundings. What he doesn’t like is being alone — he cried in his crate when his foster stepped away, but the moment someone came back and sat near him, he settled instantly. He just wants to know he’s not alone, and that reassurance goes a long way for this sensitive guy. He’s been very quiet with no barking or whining, and he seems to be potty trained. Any accidents he had were clearly just him marking territory, which should improve after neutering. Finland is still finding his appetite — dry food and treats aren’t exciting to him yet, but he happily ate meat and even nibbled on breakfast once some broth was added. With time, he’ll likely grow more comfortable eating normally. This sweet boy is also curious and well-mannered. He hopped up on the counters a couple of times but got down immediately when told. He’s already responding to simple commands like sit and come, and he hasn’t tried to jump on furniture at all. Overall, Finland is good, gentle, and incredibly sweet — a sensitive soul who just needs patience, companionship, and someone willing to help him come out of his timid shell. There's a combination of reasons why I can not keep Cowboy. He was rehomed about two weeks ago and then literally was dropped back off in my yard yesterday. He needs a forever home with someone who can give him the attention he needs. He is extremely sweet and very playful. He is just physically too big for me handle. He's fixed and plays well with other dogs. He's easily excited and that is the ONLY reason I would not let small kids around him (because he is big and goofy), but he definitely does well with bigger kids. He love people and he just wants to play. He eats literally anything you put in front of him and makes a great guard dog. He is crate trained/ house trained. He is a big chewer, so the tougher the toys the better. I was not expecting him back, so i was definitely not prepared, so the sooner we can find him a home, the better.

Meet Cowboy - Your Playful and Loyal Companion! This handsome fella is a Pit Bull and Great Pyrenees mix. He's approximately 2 years old, this large and in-charge boy is ready to lasso his way into your heart and home! Cowboy is extremely playful with a whole lot of energy to share. His current owners do NOT have cats, so we are UNAWARE of how he is with cats. Cowboy is crate trained and knows his basic commands like sit, stay, and even landown (most of the time). He walks decently on a leash, he can get a little excited and pull occasionally, so continued leash training would be beneficial. Ideally, Cowboy is looking for a loving family with a fenced-in yard where he can play to his heart's content. He would likely thrive with a family who can match his energy levels. His current family loves him dearly, but recognizes that their long work hours mean he's often alone, and they want him to have a home where he can receive the attention and activity he deserves.
