Looking to rehome a beautiful and sweet purebred Bernese mountain dog. He’s 5 years old. He is pleasantly lazy and just wants to snuggle. His owner moved into a nursing home and the dog we already have isn’t tolerating having a brother. It’s been tough to keep them separated and this dog is so sweet I’d like him to go to a home where he doesn’t have to get shuffled around to keep him separated from our dog.

Lucky loves attention, enjoys staying active and playful, and forms deep, meaningful bonds with those he trusts. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your everyday life—whether that means going for walks, playing, or simply relaxing together and enjoying each other’s company. Above all, Lucky wants connection. He does best with people who have the time and desire to include him as a true member of the family. When he feels safe and loved, his personality shines—he’s loyal, engaged, and eager to give affection right back. We are taking great care and intention in finding Lucky the right home. Our hope is to place him with someone who will cherish him.
