Hi there, I'm Murphy, an 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, although you wouldn't know how old I am from my spirit! I'm a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Sometimes I can be nervous first meeting someone, especially men, but with some snacks, I warm up incredibly quickly and I'm a huge cuddle bug! I've lived with little dogs and children in the past and has been exposed to cats and did well. My adoption fee is $200 which includes my microchip, vaccines, neuter, and a month's worth of FREE food. You can come by the adoption centre to meet me during our adoption hours of 11am to 5:30pm, no appointment needed! He has lived successfully with cats and small animals, making him a great fit for a multi-pet home.Chancey is good on leash and enjoys his walks, especially when treats are involved - he's very food motivated and eager to learn. While he has not yet been tested with children, he would likely do best in a home with dog-savvy kids who understand and respect his size.As a senior dog, Chancey is looking for a loving home that can offer comfort, patience, and companionship.
