Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This Handsome fella is Ososito. He is an almost 5 year old Bernese Mt dog. He is on the smaller side for a Berner at only about 80 lbs. Ososito loves people and could potentially make a great therapy dog. He does well with other dogs once he gets to know them, but has displayed some resource guarding of his people with other dogs. So structure and boundaries would need to be in place for him to live in a home with other dogs. He hasn't been introduced to cats in his foster home, so we're unsure how he is with them. Ososito has had quite a bit of training, knows many commands and walks beautiful on leash. He does have some separation and general anxiety though that his foster mom (who is a dog trainer) has been working on with him and he's learning that it's ok to just relax and settle. He would need to continue his training in his new home so the transition goes well and he doesn't regress with his anxiety. He is fully house trained, great in a Crate, and has good house manners. He loves to for walks, meet new people, and ride in the car. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. Want to meet Ososito?
