Story
Ella a year and half, weighing 105lbs and still growing. Was born in Ohio on a big farm with lots of acres to run around. I since moved into an apartment and my schedule makes it difficult to give her the time and attention she deserves. She loves belly rubs, tug of war and wants to be outside to play. I unfortunately can not provide her with that given where I live in an apartment and constantly studying for my masters. She deserves more time and attention especially for a young dog. She was raised with my cat and went to formal training school so she already knows commands and is house trained. I will keep her indefinitely if I can not find the right home for her that will treat her well and be attentive dog parents. She is a pure breed and also registered with AKC. She is microchipped, in perfect health, has all her vaccinations up to date, spayed and come from a reputable breeder with a champion bloodline. I have all her papers and AKC registration. Adoption fee negotiable.

Meet Larry — a 3-year-old Terrier, Pit Bull/Bernese Mountain Dog mix with the gentlest soul and the sweetest eyes. Larry came to us with his brothers, Johnny and Jax, after life dealt them a rough hand. From being dumped and left to figure life out on their own, Larry learned that the world could be a pretty scary place. Now he’s slowly learning that maybe… it doesn’t always have to be. Larry is a very shy, sensitive boy who takes things one day at a time. New people and unfamiliar situations can make him nervous, but underneath that fear is a loving dog who wants so badly to trust. The staff at CAC are helping him understand that he’s safe now, that he’s a good boy, and that hard things can get easier with patience and love. Because survival is all Larry has ever known, when he becomes anxious or frightened he can climb a 6-foot fence with surprising ease. For Larry’s safety, he will need a secure setup and an experienced adopter who understands fearful dogs and is committed to helping him continue building confidence. First-time dog owners are not recommended for this sweet boy. Larry is searching for a calm, quiet home with patient people who will let him move at his own pace and celebrate every little victory along the way. Another confident, friendly dog or two may help show him the ropes and remind him that being a dog can actually be fun. Once Larry lets you into his heart, you’ll see just how special he truly is — a soft, loving boy who simply needs someone willing to believe in him until he can believe in himself too.
