Story
We got two brothers from the same litter. Most of the time they are great, but from time to time they get in fights. The frequency seems to be less, but the aggressiveness is worse. Bear is the easier going of the two, so we thought it was best to rehome him. He turned a year old November 2025. I don’t think it’s best to keep them in the same household any longer.

Story
Volume is a Bernese Mountain Dog/ miniature Poodle mix and is a very sweet girl. She is playful, outgoing, and gives gentle kisses. She observes new surroundings first, and then cautiously explores them. She loves to chase with another dog around the yard, drag small branches around, play fetch with a ball, and snuggle on her dog bed to play with her toys. Volume is quite attentive and already learned “Sit” and “Fetch”. She self-entertains, but likes to stay near her human for reassurance and cuddles. She is not shy around people or dogs, although she’s too eager and needs to learn how to socialize calmly with other dogs and small children. She has not met any cats. She will do well with an active family, with children, and with a yard. Volume sometimes curls up in her dog bed, but she likes to naps stretched out on the hardwood floor. She's full of energy so only takes short naps, and sleeps well at night. Volume sleeps in the pen at night with another dog and uses the pee pad there. She goes potty outside each morning and after meals. During the day, she roams in the living area and tends to go wherever it is convenient instead of on the pad, so she is still learning. Volume is used to being with another dog and might have separation anxiety at first, so lots of love and snuggling with her human will be good to ease her anxiety. She is good with other dogs and with children. She is food motivated, unless it's within an hour after meals, when she's full, she goes to play instead. Hopefully she will find her forever home soon. She will bring joy and happiness to any home. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Frizz is a Bernese Mountain Dog and miniature Poodle puppy. She is a very sweet girl, affectionate, outgoing, and loves to give kisses. She happily explores new surroundings. She loves to play chase around the yard with another dog. She will drag small branches around, play fetch with a ball, and snuggle on her dog bed to play with her toys. Frizz is quite attentive and has already learned “Sit” and “Fetch”. She plays independently but also likes to snuggle for tummy rubs. She is not shy around people or dogs, although she’s too eager and needs to learn how to socialize calmly with other dogs and small children. Frizz likes to curl up in her dog bed or a blanket to sleep. She's full of energy so only takes short naps, and sleeps when everyone settles in to go to bed at night. Frizz has been sleeping in a pen at night with another dog. She uses the pee pad and is learning to use it consistently. She goes potty outside each morning and after meals. When she sniffs, that seems to indicate that she needs to be let outside and most likely she will pee. Frizz is used to having company and might have separation anxiety at first, so lots of love and snuggling with her humans or other animals will be good to ease her anxiety. She is good with dogs and kids. She will be a good addition to a happy home!! -----

Story
Albus is a 4.5 year old neutered male Bernese Mountain Dog. He is a small boy at about 75#. He was not socialized as a puppy and is very shy. He is crate trained, housebroken, and walks nicely on leash on his harness. Albus is shy and takes a while to warm up to new people. Once he does warm up, he is very snuggly. Albus would do best in a quieter home.
