He is essentially a perfect dog, great off leash, amazing recall, house trained never has accidents, good in the car, good with a fair of dogs but can be picky. He deserves the world, he would love to live on a farm. In a calm home for his later years. I would keep him but my mental health won’t allow me.

Story
Lefty is almost 2, born on a farm. We adopted him in February 2026 from a family with young children & 4 French bulldogs, one of whom bullied him. No jumping; still working on no mouthing. Walks well with guidance. He's brilliant, quick-learning, & loves problem-solving. He loves kids, cats, 2–3-mile walks, dog playdates & watching farm animals (especially horses). He sometimes gently nibbles cats as if grooming them (our cat enjoys it). He needs daily mental stimulation & interactive play: tug-of-war, tag, digging, or swimming. He's not a fetch fan. He's a heavy chewer who loves rocks (SUPERVISE CLOSELY!), sticks, recyclables, & squeaky toys, which he quickly destroys. He's social & seeks frequent attention. He's vocal when he wants something, persistent about affection, competes with devices for attention and is a "night owl". We can't keep him because we live beside 50–70 mph traffic, and he can escape standard fences. We want him to have a safe environment where he can thrive.
