Story
I’ve had Callie since she was 8 weeks old. I originally got her in Vegas from a pet store. She is the sweetest but I just can’t give her as much attention anymore. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes and takes insulin shots twice a day. I can’t keep up with it since I’m back to work and I also have 2 kids that take up most of my time. She deserves to be with a family that is able to give her more love and attention. She loves to play and cuddle.

Welcome Lucy, an adorable Multipoo. She is a remarkably smart and sweet dog. Basic Information Lucy was born on April 18, 2024.  She came into rescue when her owners, who adored and took excellent care of her, could no longer care for her.  She simply waits and stares at the door when she needs to go out.  She is housetrained, gets along well with all adults and other small dogs.  Temperament and Training She knows the commands "sit," "down," "paw," and "stay".  She loves to stand on her back legs to "dance" or balance. Lucy is a big "Velcro dog"—she needs to be touching you and follows you from room to room. She is very playful, often getting the zoomies and bouncing like a kangaroo. She "talks back" with funny little grumbles and whines when she is feeling sassy, and she is a good alert barker. Interests and Habits Lucy loves the tough balls and water buffalo horns. She enjoys walks and hikes, though she tires quickly. She is an excellent traveler and handled a cross-country car ride to Florida without issue. She dislikes wet grass or rocks when it rains but will go out if you point and command, "Go." She is loyal, hilarious, and the absolute sweetest once she is comfortable. Medical and Adoption Fee Lucy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Lucy’s  adoption fee of $400 helps offset the cost of medical expenses. Meet Laverne! Laverne was found matted and dirty. The lady holding her decided she didn't want to do that anymore and was going to let her loose! WHAT! One of our volunteers zipped over to her house and picked her and her buddy Lenny up. We are pretty sure Laverne was used for breeding. Poor girl was a hot mess! Laverne is all cleaned up and has had her medical done. She still had baby teeth that we pulled and an umbilical hernia that was fixed. Her hair is really short. She had to be shaved since she was so matted. She will need regular grooming, once her hair grows out. She is very sweet but a little shy at first. She is looking for a nice quiet home with lots of cuddle time. Laverne is spayed , UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Meet Tails! Tails was surrendered to our rescue with his siblings. His owners were no longer able to care for them. Mom is a Cattle dog and dad is a Shih Tzu! How did that happen!! Tails is a sweetheart! He Loves to snuggle and play with his siblings. He is a puppy! That means he does puppy stuff. He will need a patient family that can help him learn his manners! Tails is neutered, UTD on vaccines (needs 2 more), and microchipped. Tails is 3.5 months old and weighs 10 pounds.
