*To arrange a meet and greet and ensure a smooth introduction, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us the necessary time to coordinate schedules with their wonderful foster family.*Hi, I’m Donut! My personality is best summed up by three words: feisty, energetic, and smart! I LOVE to play, and to match my energy, I require a home with playful dogs! I may be small in stature, but I am mighty in nature. I have no problem keeping up with the big dogs and love to rough and tumble with the little ones too. I promise to bring all the fun and excitement to my future forever home!If you are interested in meeting me, please make a 'Meet our Teen + Adult Pups' appointment! To meet this pup, schedule an appointment by going to www.adoptapup.as.me and selecting Meet Our Pups! or Meet our Adult Dogs!

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogon Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Mimi, and I am a sweet Shih Tzu girl who was born 7/31/17, and I weigh 14 pounds. I lived in a home with all of the windows covered all of my life until my dad passed away and my mom couldn’t take care of me anymore. I never felt the sun on my face or felt the grass under my feet. I must have an all-adult home with an adopter familiar with the needs of my breed. I have always lived with other dogs and get along well with everyone.  If you have been waiting for a sweet Shih Tzu, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
