Story
Meet Rocky, the resilient 10-year-old Bichon Frise with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! Originally a stray, he found his way to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) and was adopted, only to be returned shortly after when his family sought a younger companion. Nevertheless, Rocky's warm and affectionate spirit triumphs over life's challenges. This social butterfly is dog-friendly, leash-trained, and delights in playful antics. Weighing 15 pounds, Rocky is a bundle of joy who adores strolls and car ride adventures. While he's conquered many aspects of companionship, he's still mastering house training, requiring patience and understanding. Rocky, a senior dog with a youthful spirit, seeks a loving forever home to share his affection and zest for life. Apply to meet Rocky at: https://www.foreverlovedpets.org/adopt/dog-adoption-application.

Story
** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA ** JUST A BABY !! xo xo xo .... Oh this little Jeeter is the most precious little thing! He is about 4-5 pounds and almost 5 months old. We're told he's a Bichon Shih Tzu mix. Jeeter will require regular grooming throughout his life so his new family should be committed to that and able to afford proper care for this perfect little boy. Jeeter is like a wind-up energizer toy... when it's playtime, he's jumpy and spinny and loves other dogs and enjoys being allowed to follow the adult dogs around like he's one of the gang. He prefers small dogs who are playful. As this little love is tiny and fragile (oh so tiny!), he would be okay with older children who are INCREDIBLY kind, respectful, and careful. And responsible. He loves to run and play and his yard should include some grass or some turf (and shade). Jeeter came from a situation where his owners did not have time for him and he was in a very sad condition. He shall never, from here forward, be neglected, unappreciated, unloved, unspoiled, un-pampered, unsafe, or ungroomed. He must have the absolute best of everything. Jeeter will go to his new home neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and with collar / ID tag, harness, and leash. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Blizard, and I am a little Maltese girl who is 7 years old, and I weigh 10 pounds. I would do best with a sibling my size to help me learn the ropes. Please no large dogs in my home or small children. Grandkids that visit and are gentle is fine. A home visit is required with all family members, present. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Maltese girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Blizard 081923-16  December 9, 2023, 12:25 pm
