BackgroundColin was rescued from a puppy mill in Gimpo this past winter. After his rescue, he has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.Personality and SocializationColin is a very gentle, soft, social, and loving boy. He enjoys being around people and has a gentle, sweet personality that makes him easy to love.With other dogs, Colin gets along well. He is especially comfortable with small, friendly dogs and finds great comfort in their presence. He loves being around them and often looks to them for reassurance and guidance. Colin has a very gentle and submissive nature and has never shown any aggression toward people or other animals.BehaviourColin rides very well in the car and rests quietly during rides. He is calm and cooperative at the vet and handles baths and grooming without any issues. He is still new to leash walking, but he follows his human well. However, he may get nervous in a new environment, so a bit of extra patience and reassurance will help him settle in.He does not show destructive behaviour or excessive barking. He is comfortable using pee pads indoors and also goes potty outside.Health and DietColin is healthy and has received full veterinary care. He is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and on regular parasite prevention. He also had some dental work done, and one tooth was extracted.After his rescue, we noticed some scratches on his eyes. They may have happened during playtime with other dogs or from rubbing. They have been healing well, and no treatment is needed. They have not affected his vision.He currently eats dry kibble twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies.Ideal HomeColin would do best in a loving and patient home. A home with another small, gentle, confident dog would be especially wonderful for him, as he gains comfort and confidence from other dogs and enjoys their companionship.Colin is a gentle and loving boy who has overcome a difficult beginning in life.
