Meet the sweetest little lady around: Maize! This adorable little ball of fluff came to us through no fault of her own and is now looking for a brand new start. Maize is as sweet as can be but is quite timid, especially when it comes to new people and new situations. She's still learning that the world isn't such a scary place, and she'll do best with a family who can offer patience, reassurance, and lots of gentle encouragement. Maize may do well having a gentle dog companion in the home to guide her. She has lived successfully with cats. Maize is afraid of children but may be fine with respectful older children or teens. Her new family will need to be vigilant about keeping her safe, she has bolted through doors and can be very difficult to catch.Overall, Maize would love a calm, understanding home that's happy to move at her pace, celebrate her progress, and support her as she builds confidence. Meet Tobby 🐾 Tobby is a sweet, soulful senior gentleman who is ready to find his forever home and spend his golden years wrapped in love. This 12-year-old Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix is the kind of dog who greets you at the door with a wagging tail and follows you from room to room just to be close. Tobby is excellent with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He walks beautifully on leash and enjoys getting out for walks; however, Tobby is currently a bit overweight, so his walks should be kept shorter and paced appropriately to ensure he's comfortable and not overdoing it. At home, Tobby is a low-key guy who prefers couch snuggles, belly rubs, and relaxing beside his person. He is fully house trained, very well-mannered, and settles easily into a routine. He doesn't bark, doesn't jump on guests, and greets visitors calmly at the door. Tobby is a loyal shadow who loves being near his human, whether that's napping by your chair, following you from room to room, riding along in the car, or curling up beside you at bedtime. Tobby is a bit of a foodie and always hopeful for a snack (soft treats only, please as he just had a dental), and absolutely melts for ear scratches and belly rubs. He would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can enjoy gentle activity, companionship, and lots of affection. If you're looking for a devoted senior companion to share quiet moments and unconditional love, Tobby may be your perfect match. 💛

Meet Rza 💕🐾 — a charming 1 year old Lhasa Apso with a big heart packed into a 12-lb fluff! Rza is friendly and curious with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy to keep him company. He's also good with cats 🐱 and has done well coexisting with them. Rza absolutely adores kids and would be a wonderful family dog. On leash, he's enthusiastic and eager, so he'll benefit from some continued training as he polishes his walking skills. At home, he sleeps in his crate overnight and is nearly fully house trained. He can be left out of the crate and does well once settled, though he does have some separation anxiety and prefers not to be alone for long stretches. Rza loves toys and will happily entertain himself, often followed by his signature post-zoomie sploot 🐶✨. With medium energy, he's easy to keep happy with daily walks and playtime. He's a loyal little shadow who loves being in the same room as his people, is highly treat-motivated, and prefers cozy body rubs over head scritches 🥰 Rza is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and a few playful sploots into his forever home 💖🐾
