Story
Sweet Thor is looking for a new home. I have to go back to work and the hrs I will be away from him just are too many. He has been with me since he was a baby and he is a sweetheart. He is great with female dogs , but would rather be an only male. He is 💯 crate trained, but if I leave him in the house by himself for multiple hrs he cannot be left out of the crate because he will lift his leg. If I’m home he is fine, but when I leave for a while he gets pretty upset. He is very healthy boy…needs his teeth cleaned agin, but he does very well getting his teeth cleaned without anesthesia. I hate to give him up, but life has changed and I don’t want to crate him all day.

Meet Sasha, our adorable muppet of a dog, At just a year and a half old, this sweet Daisy dog is a true gem! Sasha is bursting with love and has a personality that lights up every room. She gets along beautifully with other pups, adores her cat friend, and loves children and people of all ages. Whether you’re in the mood for fun or a cozy lap snuggle, Sasha is your girl! This gentle, playful pup walks well on a leash and is about 95% house trained (although rainy days can be a bit tricky!). With her happy-go-lucky spirit, Sasha is ready to spread joy wherever she goes!

Hi there! My name is Ellie, I am a 2 year old, female, maltese, and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm still a little shy, but once I feel comfortable, I will want all your love and attention. I like to be held and to sit on laps. I will most likely fall asleep on you, but don't worry you can still do the things you need to get done. As long as I'm with you, I'll be comfortable, and want to stay put. I love being around people, especially if it's one on one time with my owner, so we can cuddle. We can watch whatever show or movie you want, I'm not picky. I look forward to meeting you! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
