Story
Sweet Thor is looking for a new home. I have to go back to work and the hrs I will be away from him just are too many. He has been with me since he was a baby and he is a sweetheart. He is great with female dogs , but would rather be an only male. He is 💯 crate trained, but if I leave him in the house by himself for multiple hrs he cannot be left out of the crate because he will lift his leg. If I’m home he is fine, but when I leave for a while he gets pretty upset. He is very healthy boy…needs his teeth cleaned agin, but he does very well getting his teeth cleaned without anesthesia. I hate to give him up, but life has changed and I don’t want to crate him all day.

Hi there! My name is Lulu and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 10 year old, female Shih Tzu who came to Santa Barbara Humane looking for a family to call my own. I am a sweet old girl looking for a nice place to call my home! I love to lounge in the sun, taking naps is my favorite and enjoying meal time is the best! Interested in meeting me? Stop on by at the Santa Maria Campus. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
