We have a transport where we will be personally driving our dogs home leaving on 1/6/26 to NorCal, OR, and WA. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Belle to our trip for the right home! Belle is a gentle, thoughtful little soul with a heart that simply needs the right person to feel safe enough to fully shine. Born on 7/4/24, she weighs 12.5 lbs fully grown, a petite Bichon–Poodle mix with a soft presence and an even softer heart. Belle came from a loving family who adored her deeply, but her world was kept fairly small. Because of that, she can be cautious by nature with people she doesn’t yet know. She isn’t fearful or shut down — she just takes a moment to observe, process, and decide when it feels right to open her heart. Thankfully, that moment doesn’t take long. With a little patience and kindness, Belle blossoms into a joyful, affectionate, sweet girl who loves deeply once she knows she’s safe. Earning her trust is time well spent — her love is sincere, loyal, and incredibly rewarding. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and had a wonderful exam with our veterinarian. Belle did show signs of mild allergies and was given a Cytopoint injection to help relieve those symptoms. She was in heat at the time of her spay, which required longer anesthesia and an in-heat spay increase, and she also received an antibiotic injection to support her recovery. She handled everything beautifully and has done very well moving forward. Belle is house trained and does great following a consistent routine. She goes outside when asked and has thrived on our structured schedule of every 3–4 hours, which we strongly recommend continuing in her next home. She is crate trained and currently sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, though she would likely transition easily to a bed beside her person — or even in bed — as she is happiest being close to those she loves. She is leash trained and truly enjoys her walks, especially trips to the park or playground. Belle is a total people-watcher and will happily sit beside you on a bench, quietly observing the world while you tell her all about it. She loves being present in life and taking it all in — she just needs someone kind and confident to lead the way and show her that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes feels. Belle is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play. If you have a sweet canine companion for her to join, she would happily step into the role of sister. That said, being the center of attention as a solo pup would suit her just fine too — she wears the title of princess very naturally. She does well at the groomer, though she benefits from a patient, gentle groomer who understands that trust takes time. Grooming tools can feel a bit intimidating until she knows she’s safe, but once she’s all dolled up and back home, she prances, dances, and clearly knows she looks adorable. Belle loves snuggles, gives the sweetest kisses, and is especially motivated by treats — with a clear soft spot for strawberries and watermelon. She also travels beautifully and is great on road trips of any length. Belle is a true companion — one who will grow alongside her person, gaining confidence with encouragement, consistency, and love. She doesn’t need perfection, just someone willing to move at her pace and let her heart bloom. This is Benny. He is a 4 year old Bichon. He is a bit standoffish with strangers at first, but once he knows you are a friend he warms up. He bonds closely with his person. He likes to go for walks, and has been a good boy at the rescue. He likes his sweater. It gives him a sense of security. He came to us due to domestic violence in the home. We have changed his name in this post as to not cause any upset for his previous family.

Hello World! I’m Endearing and Energetic Emmie, and if cuteness were a sport, I’d be a pro. I’m a sweet and wiggly little fluff who’s ‘about’ one year old (or maybe a bit younger!) and I currently tip the scales at just over 10 pounds — and I’m filling out nicely now that I know where my meals are coming from. Everyone says I’m the dog-ification of cute… and honestly, have you seen my face? I’m full of joyful puppy energy and bounce through life like I’m weightless. When I wag my tail, my whole body wiggles along with it! I love to run and zoom across the yard, leap like a tiny gazelle, and race through the house with my foster sister. Toys are amazing, zoomies are mandatory, and playtime is one of my favorite things ever. After all that fun, I transition into the world’s sweetest cuddle bug. I’ll curl right up in your lap and fall fast asleep. (You can almost feel me relaxing as I realize I’m safe, loved, and part of a pack.) I’m extremely affectionate with my people and I love being close — kisses included. I get along beautifully with the dogs in my foster home. I play with the younger pup and politely leave the seniors alone, although I have started playing tug-of-war with my older foster sister as she is open to that kind of play. (She’s a FurKid alum, too). I warm up quickly to visitors and make friends quickly, once I know they’re part of my people. I’m still learning about the big world outside. Walks can still be a little overwhelming and I may bark at dogs I don’t know yet, but my foster family is helping me learn with patience, treats, and encouragement — and I’m already making progress. I’m smart, eager, and trying my very best. Since I’m still a baby at heart, I’m also learning about housetraining and basic commands like sit, stay, and come. I didn’t get much training previously but I’m catching on quickly --and will thrive with someone who is kind, consistent, and committed to helping me learn. One thing you should know about me most of all: I really LOVE my people. A lot. I don’t like being alone yet and can become anxious when my family leaves, so I’ll do best with someone who’s home most of the time and understands that I need reassurances as I become more confident. Hello New Friends, My name is Beloved and Blissful Bohdi — and I’m a gentle, handsome bichon boy of five years, weighing 19 pounds who has soulful brown eyes and a nose my foster mom says is “designed specifically for kisses.” (I think she might be right). If you’re wondering what kind of pup I am, let me tell you my story. Recently I found myself starting a brand-new chapter as a FurKid. I lost my mom, my home and my doggy siblings and arrived at my foster home: polite, quiet boy who wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I quickly learned that life inside a loving home is full of soft beds, kind hands, and tummy rubs (oh yes, the tummy rubs!). Within days I began to show my true self: a gentle soul who leans in for affection, rolls over for belly scratches, and melts into your hand when you pet the top of my head. I close my eyes and nearly drift off every time. My Foster says that’s “the cutest thing she’s ever seen.” I’m also a happy, lively pup when the great outdoors calls! I love going on walks, especially when we meet wildlife trotting across our path. Squirrels, birds, anything with feathers or fur — I perk right up and say, “Ooh! A friend!” At the park I run, jump, and play with the other dogs. I’m still learning that after you chase a toy, you’re supposed to actually bring it back. I’m working on that (I promise). As for other pups, I’m definitely the “easygoing little brother” type. I’ll curl up back-to-back with my foster siblings, share space like a gentleman, and happily join in when everyone crowds around for pets and treats. Sometimes I check what the others got for dinner, because… well… what if they received something even better? I’m still perfecting the art of “eat your dinner first, Bohdi,” but I’m enthusiastic about the lesson. I adore grown-ups, too, and I’m wonderful with children. On a recent walk, I met two young neighbors—ages four and eight—and politely let them pet me with no hesitation. I’m also a terrific car-ride companion: on my 45-minute trip to my foster home I alternated between looking out the window like a proper explorer and curling up for a restful snooze. I was “a perfect gentleman.” House manners? I do very well — especially with a doggie door. I’m great on the leash, too. I think I know how to heel, because I often glance back to check in with my Mom. Sitting is a work in progress. When you ask, I sometimes melt gently to the floor instead. It’s not that I’m being disobedient… it’s more like shyness mixed with charm. At night I hop up on the bed for snuggles, then quietly choose a dog bed of my own nearby. I’m calm and rarely bark (unless my foster siblings rally to protect the house) then, of course, I contribute one polite “woof!” to the cause. I’m an active boy who enjoys good walks (and time outdoors), but also wonderfully content with naps and companionship. I’m healthy, easygoing, affectionate, gentle, and ready to give my whole heart to the person or family who loves me. Whether you scoop me up in your arms, pull me close on the couch, or stroke the top of my head while I drift toward dreamland, I’ll show you every day just how grateful and loving a little dog can be.
