Story
Bubby is guessed to be a 7 yr old Bichon/Toy Poodle mix around 10 lbs, and he is a lovebug! He loves to cuddle, and is really playful. He trots around with a proud strut, taking in his surroundings. He even knows how to use the dog door! Bubby would do great with other dogs to show him how to dog, but it isn’t necessary! He enjoys hanging outside, as well as napping in a cozy bed, where he's happy to sleep through the night. He is intelligent, curious, and affectionate - all the qualities that will make an excellent companion! Apply today to meet him at our Wellington location.

Story
Miss Honey is a very sweet Bichon Frise/mix and weighs approximately 18lbs (she's a tad bit overweight). She loves to play and receive attention! She is completely blind (no eyes), housebroken, spayed and received a dental, microchipped and UTD on all vaccines. She is 10-12 years old. Honey would like to be an "only child" but she also does great around her foster siblings. She does fine around other dogs as long as she has had time to adjust. She will sometimes startle easily and has snapped at dogs or a person (out of fear, just a correction is needed). We recommend that she not be with small dogs. The following information is from Miss Honey's foster mom: "When Miss Honey first came to us, she was confused. Her eyes were painful and she had just left a home where she had possibly spent her entire life. We weren't sure if she had been around other dogs, so that was an adjustment. She was shy and didn't really know how to react toward other dogs - she would growl, but would also be wagging her tail. She would snap by shaking her head at other dogs and not attack, but she's not actually aggressive. Miss Honey has had a dental and both of her eyes removed. She's very happy She takes the stairs like a champ. She's very loving and a great cuddler, She will walk on a leash with her person as long as you guide her by voice & leash. She does well with a routine. Oh and when she barks, her ponytail ears flop away! Honey is really the best little dog and gets around so well despite being blind. She can go up and down stairs once she knows her area. Honey is terrified of thunder, fireworks and loud noises. She’ll start circling and pacing, all you would need to do is remove her from the area that she’s in. Quiet is all she needs."

Story
Meet Winnie! This little gal has a big underbite and came from a hoarding situation along with Bubbles, Booger, Prissy, and Boo Bear. Our rescue partner says they are all great pups who love to snuggle other dogs! From Winnie's foster: "This gal is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet; Winnie has made a complete 360 turnaround; when Winnie came into our home, she was timid and quiet; throughout our time together, I have watched her go out of her shell. Winnie loves to sit outside, sunbathe, and have the wind blow through her hair. She especially enjoys long naps and lots of cuddles! Winnie gets along with children of all ages, cats, dogs, and chickens. Winnie would make a great fit in any home. I know she will steal your heart the way she stole mine! I can't wait for you to meet her!" ADOPTION FEE: $300 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Story
Meet Prissy! This tiny gal came from a hoarding situation along with Bubbles, Winnie, Booger, and Boo Bear. Our rescue partner says they are all great pups who love to snuggle other dogs! From Prissy's current foster: "Hey there, I'm Prissy - your soon-to-be partner-in-crime and resident goofball of the dog world! Yep, my name might sound all fancy, but don't worry, I'm just as down-to-earth as they come. Picture this: me, lounging in your arms like a furry little monarch, soaking up all the attention and treats I can get my paws on. Oh, the life of luxury! Now, let's talk dining. I'm a bit of a foodie, you see. From filet mignon to the occasional fallen French fry (hey, waste not, want not, am I right?), I've got a taste for the finer things in life. And if I don't get my way? Well, let's just say I've got a bark that could rival a howler monkey. Potty training? It's a work in progress, my friend. I've got the whole peeing outside thing down to a science, but when it comes to number two...let's just say I'm still figuring out the logistics. But hey, who needs a fancy toilet when you've got a plush carpet, am I right? Talk about luxury! At night, I'm a regular party animal - barking at shadows, chasing my tail, you name it. And when I'm all partied out, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up close and dreaming of tomorrow's adventures. So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's equal parts charm, quirk, and downright hilarity, look no further than yours truly. Swing by and meet me today - I promise to keep you laughing 'til the cows come home!"
