Meet Peeta, a sweet 10-year-old cuddle bug looking for a loving forever home. Peeta may be blind, but that hasn’t dimmed his gentle spirit or his ability to bond deeply with his humans. He loves being close and on your lap, by your side, or following your voice around the house. He is great with kids and has a calm, patient nature that makes him an easy companion. Peeta adapts well once he learns his surroundings and enjoys slow walks, soft beds, and lots of affection. He isn’t high-energy and would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who wants a loyal shadow and snuggle buddy. Stevie Ray is an eight year old male Maltipoo looking for that super special forever home. He was rescued from a bad puppy mill and lived through a lot of neglect. He is blind now and paces in circles quite a bit. He needs a home with a great routine so he can be let out frequently. We believe he has lots of love to give the person who can help him. He weighs around eight pounds. Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
