✨ Meet Sage ✨ Sage is a 17-lb Bichon Frise who came to FairyTails as an owner surrender last week, and he’s already stolen hearts. He enjoyed a well-deserved Spaw Day and then headed to the vet, where this poor little guy had 13 teeth removed—but don’t worry, he’s doing great and feeling so much better already! 💪🦷 Sage was originally thought to be around 10 years old, but the vet believes he’s closer to 6, making him a settled adult (possibly a gentle senior at heart). Either way, he’s calm, sweet, and incredibly loving. 💙 What we’re learning about Sage: • Quiet and well-mannered • A total cuddle bug • Did amazing for grooming • Potties outside like a champ • Just wants a soft place and a kind human Sage is the kind of dog who’s happy just being near you—content, peaceful, and full of quiet gratitude. They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.

Little Stevie Ray sure does get around amazingly well for being blind. His foster mom reports that he uses his nose as a guide and can find everything! He loves to play, take naps, and cuddle. He even prefers being carried around like a baby. Stevie gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a friend. He is not fully house trained, but can use belly bands while roaming freely in the house. His foster has him in a dog playpen at night to give him room to move incase of accidents. Stevie needs a home with humans that are patient with him. It will take a few days for him to get comfortable and house training is not always fun. He loves to roll around in the grass and stinky dirt, so be prepared for bathing too! He sleeps all night but usually between 7-8 am he barks to be taken out. After that he is content to go back and lay down. We know there is someone out there for Stevie Ray. He is just waiting until that special person finds him and can see him as the precious little gem that he is! He is nine years old and weighs around eight pounds. Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
