Story
Chance had been rescued from abuse as a puppy. Because of his early experiences, he can be a little scared of men at first. However, once he gets to know a male owner, he becomes incredibly loyal and deeply attached. Chance is now 9 years old and in good health. He does have a mild heart murmur, but at this time it does not require any medication. Our veterinarian has advised that we simply monitor it for now. He is a very well-trained dog and has never needed to be crated. He loves his daily walks and gets very excited when he hears, “Let’s go for a walk!” He’ll immediately start stretching — it’s absolutely adorable. Chance is low maintenance, gentle, calm, and well-mannered. He only barks when he sees a stranger. He is also good with other dogs. We are looking for an adopting family who lives a quiet, not overly busy lifestyle and truly loves dogs.Chance would thrive in a peaceful home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished.
