Story
Meet Poppy — a sweet, affectionate two-year-old who will cover you in kisses the moment she decides you're her person. At under 10 pounds she's small in size but enormous in love, and she fully intends to spend as much time in your lap as you'll allow. Poppy loves going outside with you to explore. She's a curious little adventurer who enjoys sniffing around and chasing anything that catches her eye — walks are one of her favorite things, and she's always ready to head out the door. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is a natural in a multi-dog home. She can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but don't let that fool you — she warms up quickly and will soon be your shadow. Poppy is still working on her potty training, but with a little patience and consistency, she'll get there. She's absolutely worth the effort. This sweet girl is ready to find her forever family — could that be you? Poppy will require a home with a small, friendly resident dog already in place. Story
Elf is living up to his name! He’s a joyful bundle of cuteness! He loves to run and play with his foster sister, explore all the smells and get lots of love. He seems to be living his best life every day from his happy tip tap toes dance he does when it’s meal time, to throwing his toys in the air to catch them for himself, to sleeping on his back with all four legs up, he’s an adorable teddy bear of a dog who will make you laugh and give you lots of love! He's approximately 2 years old and is quickly learning to be a gentleman with all the best manners! He has shown he is incredibly trainable and will do just about anything for a treat! He is 100% housebroken in his foster home and can be crated when doing errands. He knows when it’s crate time, it’s relaxation time and easily settles. He is also working on becoming a great leash walker and has started learning to heel! He came in as a stray of the city and was injured by what is assumed was a dog attack. He can sometimes bark, whine and pull when bigger dogs are barking at him, but he has learned to keep it moving on our walks and as he continues to feel safe, the behavior is disappearing. He makes the cutest little grunt noises when he’s happy, and snores a tiny piglet snore when asleep! He is a silly goofball that likes to be held like a baby and takes his toys outside to potty with him. If you’re looking for a fetch partner, trail walker, and snuggle buddy companion, Elf is ready for his forever home! Elf will require a home with a small, young, friendly resident dog already in place. Children in the home must be at least 10 years old. These requirements are not flexible, as they are essential to ensuring that Elf transitions safely, adjusts successfully, and thrives in his new environment. Elf is located in Central TX Donations are greatly appreciated for his care. Harper is a sweet 7 year old girl weighing 14 lbs. She is housebroken in her foster home and absolutely adores squeaky toys. She’s a loyal little watchdog and will happily alert you to anyone—human or canine—who passes by the window. Harper loves being close to her person and will curl up beside you in bed every night. She also has a charming quirk: when she goes potty, she lifts her back legs completely off the ground! Harper will require a home with a small, young, friendly resident dog already in place. Story
Hi, my name is Dutch! I'm a 2-year-old energetic Bichon mix weighing in at a compact 14 lbs. I was found as a stray and needed a fresh shave when I arrived, but my foster mom tells me I'm going to be absolutely beautiful once my coat grows back in! I'm a well-mannered pup who is housetrained in my foster home and crate trained. I walk great on a leash and am a fantastic car ride companion. My absolute favorite place in the whole world? My foster mom's lap! I get along wonderfully with my foster doggy brother and sister, and would love a home with another dog to play with. I haven't been exposed to cats, and since my history with little ones is unknown, a home with children aged 10 and older and no cats would be the best fit for me. I'm ready to find my furever family! If you think I could be the perfect addition to your home, please fill out an adoption application and ask for Dutch in Arizona. Dutch requires a home with a small, young, friendly resident dog already in place. Children in the home must be at least 10 years old. These requirements are not flexible, as they ensure Dutch transitions safely, adjusts well, and thrives in his new environment. Donations are greatly appreciated for his care. Story
Meet Bear! 🐾 Bear is a healthy, happy 5-year-old boy weighing in at a perfect 20 pounds. He's truly one of a kind — full of personality and never shy about letting you know what he wants! Bear has his own "doggy speak," a very audible and charming way of communicating, especially when treats or mealtime are involved. When excitement strikes, Bear loves to run playful circles, and you might catch him dashing back and forth indoors just to entertain himself — and whoever's lucky enough to be watching! He enjoys a good game of fetch and knows how to keep the fun going all on his own. Bear is progressing beautifully with his housetraining. He responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement — praise and treats are the way to his heart — and with consistency and encouragement, he continues to grow and thrive. His treat-motivated nature makes him an eager and willing learner. At the end of the day, Bear is a lover. He's happiest curled up in a lap or staying close to his favorite person. Friendly, affectionate, and always up for a car ride, Bear brings joy wherever he goes. Bear would be the perfect addition to a family that loves to play and shower him with the attention he deserves. Could he be your new family member? 🏡 Adoption Requirements — Please Read Carefully To ensure Bear thrives in his forever home, the following requirements apply — no exceptions: A small, friendly dog must already be living in the home No cats — Bear believes cats are for chasing! Children must be at least 10 years old Bear is currently located in Oklahoma. ❤️ Want to Help? Donations toward Bear's care are greatly appreciated! Story
Meet Chanel Number 5! Chanel isn't ACTUALLY a spokesman for the perfume brand. She was named when she was first pulled from the shelter. After living on the streets, she was a VERY smelly, matted, sickly mess. Since arriving at her foster home, she has had several baths, nail trims, grooming sessions, antibiotics, a dental procedure and a skin surgery to treat a nasty skin infection, and she smells MUCH better now. Chanel was clearly a beloved pet in living a home once upon a time. She looks for the softest dog beds, she knows how to use stairs, she TRIES to go outside when she needs to go (even if she doesn't always find her way) and actively wants to know where her humans are. We simply don't know how she ended up wandering the streets alone. She IS a senior dog - mostly blind, mostly deaf and slow walking. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm free. The only remaining health issue is her feet - at some point in her journey as a stray, the pads on her back feet tore off. So she wears very cute infant socks to protect them while they heal. She won't need them forever, but she doesn't have as much pain wearing them while they heal. Chanel spends her day alternating between enjoying her long naps and wandering between napping spots. She's slowly learning her way around the house and even the yard. Sometimes, when it's time to go out, we carry her just to save time, but she does try to go out for bathroom duties. When she decides it's time for dinner, and she cannot find her humans, she will bark for them. When she finds them, she wags her tail happily and follows them as well as she can. She definitely feels safe when the humans are home Chanel has had a rough time that she did not deserve - who dumps an elderly house pet? She definitely deserves a kind, safe home with a dog bed for her twilight years. If you can be that home for her, please fill out an application. Her adoption fee is waived with approved application https://form.jotform.com/200005720739042
