Story
This is Leland and he is looking for his furever home. Here are the important details about this wonderful little guy:- Est. 3-4 years old- Terrier mix?? Cute curly tail!- 18 lbs of bouncy fun!- Working on stopping his enthusiastic jumping up on people- Fully vetted (was just neutered last week)- Playful - loves toys and treats. Plays with our other foster dog Logan. LOVES to play fetch! He will bring you his favorite toy of the day, drop it at your feet or in your lap --- give you a few moments to step up -- then give you the cutest little moan of encouragement to get throwing!- Gets along well with other dogs, bigger and smaller- Not a cat fan, but I think he could adjust -- also will chase chickens- Housetrained- Good on and off leash- Sleeps quietly in the crate at night.- Likes to be by your side, on the floor or in your lap, but not in an anxious way.- No food or toy aggression.- Well behaved in the house!Leland is SO darn sweet!! He has a lot of energy (it's been very challenging to keep him quiet as he heals from his neuter) and loves to run, chew on toys and play fetch. He is a great snuggler too, but also happy to lay in his bed with his favorite toy. Leland is a GREAT dog!!Leeland and Logan came to our house yesterday afternoon as fosters. These two handsome fellas were surrendered together, after living a life on the road with a trucker who could no longer care for them. They are both SO sweet, enjoying as many snuggles and kisses as they can get. Both appear to get along with other dogs, bigger and smaller. They are terrier mixes, fully vetted, 20-25 lbs and around 3-4 years old. They are very playful and enjoy chewing on toys. Leland loves to retrieve anything you will throw for him! He will bring you his toy of choice, drop it on the floor in front of you and make an adorable little moan begging for you to throw it. . They both appear to be housebroken and are well-behaved on the leash. They slept together in a kennel last night very quietly.Even though they were surrendered together, they aren’t a true bonded pair and could be adopted separately. They definitely love each other, though!Meet Leeland! This precious little 3 year old, 17 pound Shih tzu mix is looking for a foster or adopter!!! He was found as a stray and brought into our rescue with two other dogs he was traveling with! He can be shy at first but warms up fairly quickly! Great with other dogs, good in his crate, working on his house training!
