Story
Bella is approximately 5 years old. We adopted her three years ago. She had been abused slightly and was a little timid. She has come out of her shell and is a very sweet dog. She is up to date on her shots and we just had her teeth cleaned as well. My wife has some health issues and we just can't take care of her any more. We're elderly and I think a home with no children would be ideal for her. However, if the children were older, it would probably be okay.

Story
Meet Dolly – A Resilient Little Lady Looking for Her Soft Landing Sweet little Dolly is searching for a loving home where she can finally relax and be cherished. She came into foster care from a local shelter in rough shape, but with plenty of TLC she has truly begun to blossom. When Dolly first arrived at her foster home, she was extremely underweight and limping on her left hind leg. A veterinary exam estimated her to be a 7–10 year old poodle mix and revealed that she had previously suffered a broken hip and broken foot. Despite everything she had been through, Dolly’s gentle spirit never faded. With time, love, and good nutrition, Dolly has made wonderful progress. She now weighs a healthy 11 pounds and is able to walk on her leg. And when she gets excited—yes, she even runs!—she may still lift it a little, but it certainly doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. She would require a one story home or someone that can pick her up. Dolly is a calm, easygoing little girl. She gets especially excited when her people come home and right before mealtime (her favorite time of day!). If she wants to be picked up, she’ll politely scratch at your leg or “chat” with you to let you know. She’s a people-loving pup who prefers cuddling with her humans over playing with other dogs (though occasionally she’ll try to join the fun). Dolly isn’t much of a toy player, but she absolutely loves relaxing next to you on the couch—and at bedtime, she happily claims the prime spot between her foster parents’ pillows. Dolly is house trained and generally very quiet. One of her favorite daily activities is soaking up the sunshine while lounging on her elevated dog bed. Because she is still recovering from her hip injury, she has not yet been taken on walks. She has done well around young children, though her experience with cats is unknown. Dolly rides nicely in the car and is cooperative for grooming and bathing. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, protected with ProHeart 12 (12-month heartworm prevention), and recently had a dental cleaning. Dolly has overcome a lot and deserves a home filled with love, comfort, and gentle companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet little fluffy companion who will shower you with affection—and even give hugs in return—Dolly might be the perfect match for you. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Michael Myers – A Spooky Name for a Sweet, Scared Little Soul Michael Myers is a 5-year-old Bichon Frise–Maltese mix with a fluffy white coat an d a compact 20-lb frame. Recently pulled from a shelter, he carries the weight of an unknown past, and some of that shows in his behavior. Despite his dramatic name, Michael isn’t frightening—he’s simply a sensitive dog who reacts out of fear and may snap or try to bite when he feels unsafe or overwhelmed. What Michael needs most is a calm, patient, dog-savvy home that understands fear-based behavior. He will benefit from consistent training to help him learn manners, build confidence, and improve his potty routine. A quiet environment will help him feel secure and allow him the space he needs to adjust at his own pace. Because he startles easily, a home without small children is best. With time and trust, Michael reveals a softer side. His big, expressive eyes tell you everything he can’t say, and once he feels safe, he offers gentle moments of affection that feel truly earned. He may not be the right dog for everyone, but for someone who believes in second chances and understands the power of patience, Michael Myers has the potential to become an incredibly rewarding companion. If you’re ready to help a fearful pup rewrite his story, Michael may be waiting just for you. Adoption fee is waived to the right home ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. COURTESY POST: Zeke is a Goofball!Zeke is the goofiest dog and loves to cuddle up next to anyone he meets. He has a left front leg/shoulder deformation from an injury when he was a puppy. We believe he was hit by a car or received blunt force trauma. Zeke takes daily pain medication that helps him tremendously and he does great running around with no issues. A home without younger children will be preferred to prevent rough housing which may cause Zeke pain. A Wisdom Panel was run on Zeke: he is a true mutt. American PitBull Terrier-20%, Bichon Frise-20%, ChowChow 9%, Chinese SharPei 9%, American Staffordshire Terrier 7% and 12 other breeds make up the remaining 35%. The results will be available to Zeke's adopter.June 6, 2026, 10:46 pm
