His dream job? Full-time companion, with unlimited lap privileges. He even uses little doggie stairs to get onto the couch and bed. Independent transportation to the cuddle department! 🥹Zolo does have past trauma, so trust takes time. He doesn’t like being picked up or touched with feet and may growl when he’s uncomfortable. He was placed in a foster home, but unfortunately, he was returned after a biting incident. Brando can be nippy when he is nervous or unfamiliar with someone, so he will need an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior, respects his boundaries, and is willing to give him the time and patience he needs to build trust. Once Brando gets to know you and feels comfortable, he can show his sweet side. He would do best with someone who is confident, patient, and committed to helping him feel safe and secure in his new home. Brando is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He has also received a ProHeart 12 injection, providing a year of heartworm prevention. Brando needs a home that is prepared to take his behavior seriously and set him up for success.
