Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Burrito is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in Sacramento. Adoption fee applies. Meet Burrito, an 8-year-old grand and magnificent Silver Tabby and White Maine Coon. With his impressive size, striking silver tabby markings, and classic Maine Coon elegance, he is a majestic presence in any home. This big, gorgeous gentleman weighs 35 lbs and carries himself with quiet dignity and charm. Burrito has a wonderfully mellow, gentle temperament. He can be shy with new people at first (often hiding when the doorbell rings), but he warms up at his own pace and becomes a loving companion. He stays in the room with visitors, watches with interest, makes excellent eye contact, and responds happily when talked to. Our cat sitter is a favorite because she chats with him and he engages with purrs. He’s a fantastic helpful desktop assistant — you’ll often find him perched quietly nearby on a desk or table, keeping you company while you work without demanding constant attention. What Burrito loves: Generous belly rubs and head scratches Daily brushing (he gets mats otherwise; vet has shaved him before) Gentle play with wand toys Morning and evening Greenies treats Long, peaceful daytime naps Burrito is strictly indoor-only and has never been outdoors. Despite his size, he jumps onto the couch with ease. He uses an open-top litter box with World’s Best Cat Litter and prefers it scooped daily. He may have an occasional accident if it’s not cleaned daily. Burrito currently lives with Luna, a beautiful independent Tuxedo female Maine Coon. Although they could be adopted together, they are not a bonded pair — both are very self-sufficient, so separating them would not be a problem. He would thrive as an only cat or with another calm feline friend. He is never aggressive — just a calm, easy-going boy who enjoys his independence. Best home for this magnificent boy: Quiet, patient adults or older cat-experienced children (no toddlers or young kids — he’s shy and needs to feel safe) No dogs Someone willing to brush him daily and maintain a clean litter box A home where he can continue as your grand, helpful desktop companion His routine is simple: ½ can of wet food daily with dry kibble always available. The vet says he’s only slightly overweight. If you’re seeking a truly special cat — grand in looks, gentle in spirit, and quietly devoted once he knows you — Burrito may be perfect for you. He starts reserved but rewards patience with sweet affection and big Maine Coon purrs. We’re committed to finding him the best forever home. Serious inquiries only — happy to answer questions about our Owner Placement Program. We can also discuss adopting Luna with him if you have room for two magnificent Maine Coons! Burrito is ready to become your magnificent desk mate and beloved companion. Could that be you? Burrito is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. Story
Well what a high drama girl this little Carrot Cake is! I always love the striking colors of calico kitties who are almost always females. I joke that these vivid little fireballs are Little Empresses who that think they own the whole world and act accordingly. Ms Carrot Cake is definitely the exception to this rule. She is not a demanding personality; instead, she is an easy going and nicely behaved little treasure. Having grown up around her charming brothers and other kitty playmates she loves other cats. She also loves humans and all the attention they bring. Her two brothers were a matched set of orange boys and they went home together after we spent quite a while looking for a family that could take all three siblings.A home for three is very hard to find.Sadly we had to separate them but she adjusted much better than we expected. So let's find a new family for Carrot Cake with at least one other fun loving kitty. She is a confident , playful and curious girl and would probably be fine with a cat loving dog but we have no direct experience of that with her. She is so outgoing that she will likely entertain strangers who come over to dinner. Who could fail to be smitten with a soft, fuzzy kitty who has one black front leg and one red tabby front leg, both with sparkling white feet? And over the black leg she has a red cheek and over the red leg she has a black cheek. All with a pink nose set above a white chin. And she often has a grumpy cat face which just makes you smile because that is not her at all. She is a one of a kind kitty who is so much fun. Carrot Cake would be good as a family cat and probably would be just fine with respectful children of all ages. She is an easy cat in many ways. She is healthy, loves attention, loves other kitties, uses her box , will eat anything. She enjoys brushing and grooming as the loving attention it really is and has an easy coat to manage even though her hair is medium long. Look how silky it is! She is part Maine Coon and that gives her not only her plush fur but also her willingness to be in a family setting including the noise and commotion that often comes with that. She could also be an entertaining, heart companion for a couple or a single person who are home and have another cat . She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. If your home comes complete with catnip she would be delighted. Some family will be so lucky to have her entertaining, loving, soft, cuddly company. Carrot Cake is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Story
Crunch Berry and Corn Pops MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions Adoption Fee: $425 for the pair Here are the first two of the four "Breakfast Kitties". ( No I did not name them.) Crunch Berries is the sister who is bonded with her brother,Corn Pops. Soon I will post Fruit Loops ( Loopy ) the sister who is bonded to her other brother ,Lucky Charms ( Lucky). The girls show their Maine Coon heritage in their lush long coats, intelligent faces, head shape and super long whiskers. Crunch Berry is the most colorful of the litter, she is red , black and white which sets off her soft green eyes. and brick red nose. She likes to roll around showing off her lush, soft tummy. Her legs have striking bandings and big soft paws. She is an outgoing, goofy girl who loves attention. As a calico she thinks the whole world is hers. Corn Pops is both different and similar. He has the head shape, and body size and intelligence of his Maine Coon heritage, the green eyes and brick nose, the banding, the eye liner. He is strikingly beautiful but with shorter fur. Where Crunch Berry is a flirt and social director, Corn Pops is a poet and deep thinker. He is more complex. With strangers he will probably be initially shy but he has such deep feelings that he gives all of his heart when he knows you. You can feel so clearly how he wants your love and company. Sometimes he says "I want to cuddle. Just hold me and let me hide my head under your arm" He will easily let you do what you wish with him -clip his nails, pose him and hold him this way and that.He just wants to be with you. Crunch has always easily attracted tons of attention. Corn Pops is a passionate companion when he knows you. Crunch and her sister Fruit Loops have always been the leaders, easily curious and outgoing. Both boys in this litter have been slower to grow up and gain confidence and grow into their looks. No longer are they bland little babies, they have suddenly come into their own and are just s striking as their fluffy sisters. Now they are all ready to go home. These kitties are both friendly with cats and would probably be fine with respectful, gentle dogs and children. Some family will be so lucky to have their playful loving companionship. Crunch and Corn Pops eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect. Their foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz. Crunch Berry is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, California.
