Story
Mr. Bates is a warm, loving Maine Coon cat. Like many Maine Coons, he's a gentle giant who loves to snuggle and play, though now that he's 13 his play time is less vigorous than when he was a young man. :) He loves treats, especially when I toss them so he can chase them! He loves being pet under his chin & purrs quite a bit. While we mostly keep him inside, he loves being out in the yard for a bit every day, when he can. (He doesn't chase birds or we would keep him in.)We got him as a kitten from a family-run, super loving cattery. We love Mr. Bates completely, but have moved a couple of times in the past several years and we are traveling quite a bit currently--Mr. Bates would welcome staying in one place for a while and having his humans home more frequently. Mr. Bates has done well living with other cats and a dog, but being the center of attention would suit him very well! He's up to date on shots and had blood work done at his 5/26 checkup, which indicated all is well.
