Story
Bogie is about 8 years old and comes to Feline Matchmakers as an owner surrender. Things just weren't working out in his last home and he didn't get along with his mom cat anymore. He needs lots of stimulation indoors and would do best with another cat. Bogie is a great guy, gets along with dogs and respectful older children. He loves chin scratches and head rubs, not a trouble maker at all. Once he settles in, he will want to share your bed, so you musn't mind a big cat laying on your chest! Bogie can be shy around strangers, so his adopter needs to give him time to decompress and settle in. We will give you tips on how to do that. This handsome, long haired ginger tabby is ready for a second chance. If you have a calm and caring home to give him, please reach out. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Please fill in our application via this link: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/25426/generic We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company. ##1037827##

Story
Spencer was adopted by a young lady when she lived in Alaska. She moved to Wilmington, NC and the stress was a bit too much for Spencer. He started acting unwell and she could not afford to vet him properly. It turns out that the stress caused Cystitis, which in turn caused his bladder to swell, causing crystals in his urinary tract and blood in his urine. He is on a round of medication to resolve the issue and will need a prescription food, probably for the rest of his life. Spencer will do best as the only cat in a household, but will eventually coexist with another nice cat with a lengthy introduction time. He will continue to need a low stress family. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Please fill in our application via this link: http://www.felinematchmakers.org We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC to those over 21 years old. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE GUIDELINES, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED. ##2002171##
