Spencer was adopted by a young lady when she lived in Alaska. She moved to Wilmington, NC and the stress was a bit too much for Spencer. He started acting unwell and she could not afford to vet him properly. It turns out that the stress caused Cystitis, which in turn caused his bladder to swell, causing crystals in his urinary tract and blood in his urine. He is on a round of medication to resolve the issue and will need a prescription food, probably for the rest of his life. Spencer will do best as the only cat in a household, but will eventually coexist with another nice cat with a lengthy introduction time. He will continue to need a low stress family. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption.
