Story
Rubys story began when she was found abandoned in a park with her five week old puppies. She was a devoted and attentive mama who kept her babies safe and loved until they were old enough to find their forever homes. Her pups have all found their families and now its Rubys turn. Ruby is a 3 year old, 44 lb sweetheart with a loving and athletic spirit. She loves romping outside, squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles with her people. She absolutely lights up when she sees familiar people. Her tail wag is endless and she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. Shes housebroken, crate trained and has lived happily in a family setting with kids, dogs, and cats. Ruby is currently in her second week of board and train and is doing AMAZING. Her trainer is impressed with how quickly she picks up new skills and how eager she is to work. She especially enjoys agility style training and thrives when both her mind and body are engaged. Ruby can be sensitive in new situations with new people, so shes looking for an adopter who will continue helping her build confidence and practice calm neutrality when outside the familiarity of home. The great news is that Connect Canine Training, LLC is offering continued training support to Rubys adopters, so you will have the support and guidance needed to help Ruby as she transitions to her forever home. If youre looking for a loyal, loving, active companion and believe in giving a great dog the life she deserves, Ruby might be your girl! Ruby is spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines and prevention and negative for both heart worms and tick diseases. Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
