Story
Rusty is a very sweet dog, he is loving and loyal. He is a good looking dog. He very friendly. You can tell he he is a young dog. He is great around kids. He has to warm up to other dogs. My son has a female dog and it took us a little while to get them comfortable with each other but now they love each other. When I got Rusty I was told that he does really good around cats and other big dogs. when I see him with the cats that prowl around here, It may be out of protection, but he does like to chase them. He is a hound so I think that is just part of his breed. He never tears up anything and he behaves well at home. He was being mistreated and my grandson rescued him. This is how I became his owner. The vet said that he is probably between one and two. I believe he weighs somewhere between 65 and 70 lbs. he loves to play fetch. He is a very special dog, beautiful and extremely sweet. He has had all his shots, he is HW free and takes his medication each month .

Kai is a smart, playful, and incredibly friendly 1 year old hound mix. The only thing longer than his ears and legs is his devotion. Kai likes other dogs, and one of his favorite activities is romping around the yard with his dog friends. He also enjoys car rides, chew toys, bones, and happily following you from room to room just to be near you. He is a devoted companion who will gladly curl up beside you on the couch at the end of the day. Kai is housebroken and currently lives happily with kids, dogs, and cats. He truly never meets a stranger and greets everyone like an old friend. Kai would thrive with either the wide open spaces of country living or a securely fenced backyard where he can safely stretch those long legs and enjoy the fresh air. A family who will include him in daily life and adventures would be the perfect match. If youre looking for a loyal shadow with floppy ears and an even bigger heart, Kai is waiting to meet you. Kai is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm and tick borne disease negative! Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. Story
Rubys story began when she was found abandoned in a park with her five week old puppies. She was a devoted and attentive mama who kept her babies safe until they were old enough to find their forever homes. Now its Rubys turn to find a family. Ruby is a 3 year old, 44 lb sweetheart with a loving and athletic spirit. She loves romping outside, squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles with her people. She absolutely lights up when she sees familiar people. Her tail wag is endless and she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. Shes housebroken, crate trained and currently lives happily in a family setting with kids, dogs, and cats. She does best with slow intros to new dogs but once she realizes they are friendly shes very sweet, playful and submissive. She is a wonderful cat companion also and totally ignores them, including the litter box. Ruby completed a 3 week board and train program and did AMAZING. Her trainer was impressed with how quickly she picks up new skills and how eager she is to work. She learned all kinds of obedience skills and manners. She can be anxious meeting new people outside her comfort zone so adopters without expectations of taking her out and about to busy places is ideal. Shes a simple girl that loves the familiarity and routine of home and walks in nature. Rubys quite agile and can jump low fences so high fences and/or supervision while shes outdoors is a must. If youre looking for a loyal, loving companion and believe in giving a dog with a hard background a second chance, Ruby might just be your girl!
