Melody is a clever girl who loves playing games, especially searching for hidden toys. She already knows the command "sit" and will impress you with her obedience. When it's time to unwind, she's happy to relax with her plush toy trying to find the squeaker and keeping herself entertained. Melody is a great companion for outdoor adventures and long walks. She adores being outside and will accompany you on every exploration. While she enjoys her high-energy activities, she can also settle down and cuddle up, ready for some quality time on the couch. Melody has great house manners and is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps soundly in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Car rides are a joy for her, and she'll eagerly join you. Melody is not a fan of cats due to her prey drive and would probably do best as the only pet in her home. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
