Lower Fees. Adoption $150.00, Transport: $100.00  DeeDee is one of our special Hope dogs, a program that you can read about here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/adopt/hope-dogs. She is a Black Mouth Cur mix who is about 2 years old and was surrendered back in April. While she has had fun meeting new friends and showing off all her cool tricks, she's quite ready to find her new parents. DeeDee will do best in a home where she can be active. She already knows a wide range of commands but is always up for learning more. PS She has a wonderful recall too! She has gotten along well with every dog she has met at the shelter. She currently has some kennel mates and LOVES them.  (posted 9/22/25, HOPE)  Adoption Fee:  $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as noted in the listing.        September 22, 2025, 9:22 am

Humpty was a wild child when we first got him at Easter and he had to grow up in boarding. But now he's gone to a fabulous trainer, Callie Lloyd, at Camp Little Paws for training and is now a wonderfully trained boy who will be a fabulous family dog. ***FREE PRIVATE SESSION WITH CALLIE TO ADOPTER***He's a large breed puppy who loves to snuggle and play. He's TRAINED, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on preventions, neutered, microchipped, the whole nine yards. HE STILL NEEDS A YARD to run in and to be reminded often of his training. Or isn't one and done with him. He is not an apartment dog. He's got TONS of energy and walks simply won't be enough for him.Apply for this great TRAINED guy online atMadisonarf.orgAdoption fee is SPONSORED.

Story
Kenny (A563977) arrived as a shivering stray who wasn’t too sure about this big, loud world. He’s still a little shy, but he’s so close to fully coming out of his shell, and it has been such a sweet thing to watch. The best way to meet Kenny is to take him out of his kennel and into a quiet room where he can show you who he really is. That’s where his confidence kicks in and he becomes a total little show off. Kenny is wiggly, loves treats more than life itself, and will do just about anything for a snack. He has an elite sploot, too, and he’s not shy about showing it off once he’s comfortable. He also seems to be potty trained since he has pretty much refused to use the bathroom in his kennel since the day he arrived. He’s a smart boy who is trying so hard to do everything right. All he needs is a loving family to show that all of his patience has been worth the wait. Kenny is guesstimated to be 1 year old and weighs 38 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative.Ready to meet Kenny? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D24. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID

Story
Meet Blueberry A563580 and just look at those adorable ears! He’s full of energy, joy, and curiosity, and he would absolutely love to be your new hiking companion. Whether you’re hitting trails or just heading out for a walk, Blueberry is always ready for the next adventure. He’s smart, already knows how to sit, and walks beautifully on leash. When he’s not exploring, he enjoys hanging out and playing, but he really shines when he has a furry friend by his side. Blueberry gets along great with other dogs and would be so happy in a home with another dog to keep him company when you’re busy. Sweet and clever, Blueberry is ready to bring fun, laughter, and loyalty into a loving home. If you’re looking for a playful sidekick with big ears and an even bigger heart, you’ve just found him.

Part of the Martinez Litter Amber is a typical young adult dog - playful, energetic, loves to play with other dogs, loves human attention, bashful sometimes and bold other times. Amber may be bonded with her sister Gazelle. I am not qualified to make that determination.
