Before he was rescued, Skip was hit by a car and lost his front right leg, but don’t let that fool you. He gets around beautifully, loves to run and play, and has all the zest for life of a four-legged pup. Skip is the sweetest companion you could ask for. He adores people of all ages and plays well with other dogs. His favorite things include snuggling, trips to the dog park, and spending time outside. He is fully house-trained, neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations. The only thing Skip asks is a cat-free home. Other than that, he is an incredibly loving, loyal dog who will thrive with a family that gives him the affection and playtime he deserves. Skip is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and unconditional love into his new forever home!

If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant. Please wait for our response as we schedule appointments to meet our pets. Pet & adoption cost/detail information – please read all.  PET DESCRIPTION:  James is a male Black Mouth Cur/maybe Lab mix, 1 1/2-years-old, 80 lbs. Surrendered when unable to keep.  Good with female dogs, very sweet and loving, wants to cuddle and give kisses.  Likes the idea of toys but not sure what to do with them.  He would love to watch the TV with his family being a couch potato. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
