Story
Stella may be a little in her shell when you first meet, but she is readily won over with food and soon shows you her fun side! She is a playful girl who has some energy to burn, but she'll help you out - she likes to take the leash and walk herself! This smarty is treat-motivated and would be fun to teach tricks. She shows signs of being housetrained and has been friendly with males dogs (only). Stella would do best with a solid fence, as she likes to protect her property - but only behind a fence for extra courage! Story
Brutus is no brute at all - he is a humble, shy boy with a love of other dogs and quiet spaces. He lived a long time as just one of many in a hoarder home. We would love him to be the apple of some kind person's eye, who is devoted to letting him have a laid-back, love filled, stress-free furever home.  Est DOB: Apr 2015 * Est weight: 78# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksDecember 25, 2025, 1:41 pm

Story
She might look built for speed, but Harley enjoys the lazy life. She enjoys a stroll on leash or to hang out with other dogs. Her shyness is overcome with yummy hot dogs. One thing that does liven her up is protecting her yard, so she will be her best with a sturdy, solid fence to avoid this distraction.  Est DOB: Aug 2021 * Est Weight: 48# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksDecember 26, 2025, 10:24 pm

Pluto is a stick obsessed, energy filled, snuggle bug! He's the best of all worlds: sweet, energetic, and goofy. He is fine with submissive dogs, knows sit and back up, and walks well on a leash until something catches his attention (squirrel!). If you are looking for a cute, compact sized snuggler with a heaping of playful...he's your boy! Est DOB: Jan 2024 * Est weight: 42# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksJanuary 1, 2026, 8:08 pm

Story
"Hi, Im Charlia true survivor with a heart of gold. My life changed forever one year on Thanksgiving Day when I was cruelly mistreated on the street along with another dog. But that moment didnt define me, what came next did. I was scooped up, comforted, and given the second chance I deserved. Since then, Ive been safe at Summits Sanctuary, where Ive spent the past six months healing, learning, and waiting patiently for my forever family. Despite everything Ive been through, my spirit shines brighter than ever. Im sweet, playful, and gentle, with soulful eyes that tell my story of survival and a wagging tail that shows my endless hope and love. Ive even been trained by a certified dog trainer, so you can feel confident asking her any questions about me. Im really just a gentle gianta big baby who loves belly rubs, snuggles, and rolling over for scratches any time of day. Ill happily pay you back with kisses and the occasional love nibble, and I promise my affectionate nature will bring joy to your home. I get along great with other dogs, though Im still unsure about cats (but Im willing to try a cat test!). Im heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on vaccines, so Im ready to walk into my new home today. Six months of waiting is far too long for a boy like me. Im looking for a family who will see the beauty in my strength and the love Im so eager to give. If youve been searching for a loyal, forgiving, and affectionate companion, I might just be your perfect match. Please open your heart and home to meIm ready for my happy ending." https://youtube.com/shorts/kDCt8gd-R3g?si=e-5J2xta1VuTNTjw Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Fixed, Microchipped & Up to Date on Vaccines Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Part of the Martinez Litter Amber is a typical young adult dog - playful, energetic, loves to play with other dogs, loves human attention, bashful sometimes and bold other times. Amber may be bonded with her sister Gazelle. I am not qualified to make that determination.
