My brother Ollie and I used to have a family, sort of, but they let us run all over a neighborhood where there were lots of cars and even coyotes, so we were not in a safe place. We’re thankful for the nice rescue people that were able to put us into a foster home with a foster mom that loves us and keeps tabs on us. Hi there! I’m Abigail! Let me tell you a little about myself, l was abandoned by some bad people & showed up on the porch of some nice people in rural Arkansas. I was skin & bones so they were a bit surprised when I had 3 puppies a few days after showing up at their house. All 3 of my puppies have found loving homes so now it’s my turn to find my forever family. I’ve learned to love the comforts of home. My favorite thing is lounging on beds & couches. I am being fostered with two other canines & a feline! I would do best in a home with other pets, as I get a little lonely when left alone. If you work during the day, I’d really appreciate having another furry friend around. But if you’re retired or can spend plenty of time at home with me, I’d be over the moon to hang with you. I am great on a leash—walks are my favorite thing ever. I am super easy to care for as I am really mellow but yet still playful with other dogs. Tillie was found walking in the middle of a winding road and came right up to my car. It seemed she had been on her own for a good while and, after every effort was made to find her previous home with no response, we decided we would be fostering her until we could find her a loving forever home. We brought her home, cleaned her up, and decided to work with a professional trainer so she can be the most prepared for her new family. We have learned throughout the process that she is brilliant and extremely receptive to good training. Our family has fallen in love with her and would keep her if it were in any way possible. She is crate trained and often uses her crate when things get a bit too busy.
