Story
I inherited Daisy from my mother when she died in 2017; Daisy was 2 and missed my mom so much. She is a fantastic dog. She is very affectionate and communicative with people. She is super smart and energetic, and loves to play ball and train. She is an indoor dog who loves being in her large fenced yard, essential for exercise. She knows Sit, Down, Off, Back, Stay, Come, Wait, and the AKC tricks Touch and Table. Daisy doesn’t have solid recall for off leash walking. She barks a lot when someone new comes in the house, but out of insecurity, not aggression or protectiveness. Daisy is reactive towards other dogs. She has had a lot of reactive-dog training and can walk on leash with high value treats to distract. She lives with our 17 year old Yorkie mix who is frail. Unfortunately Daisy resource guards (people, food, toys) and she sometimes snaps at the small dog. She has never bitten anyone, but we believe she needs to be the only pet in a loving household.

Meet Maximus! 🐾 Maximus is a high-energy, social butterfly who absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. He is family friendly and would do best in an active home where he can be included in daily activities and burn off his happy energy. He is both affection and food motivated, making him very trainable and eager to please. Maximus responds well to corrections, though he can be jumpy when excited—something that will continue to improve with consistent guidance and training. Maximus is good with other dogs but needs slow, structured dog introductions. He is very playful and sometimes doesn’t fully understand or respect cues from other dogs, so careful intros help set him up for successful canine friendships. He is not good with cats, so a cat-free home is required. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, outgoing companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Maximus may be your perfect match! 🐶💙

Meet Cheeto. He is a very sweet and playful 1-year old Black Mouth Cur looking for a loving forever home. There is never a dull moment with Cheeto around. He has a wonderful, happy, and loving personality that would be a great addition to any family looking for an energetic young dog to spend time with. He loves to play with other dogs, enjoys car rides, walks well on the leash and is crate-trained. He is also great with children and new people. Cheeto has been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and he weighs about 28 pounds. The adopter will receive his vaccination booklet, health certificate, and microchip information upon adoption. Please submit an application or contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet with Cheeto. Note: Transport of this dog anywhere in the US can be provided if needed.

Goose is a stunning, smart, and deeply loyal hound who needs the right environment to thrive. We adopted him 2 years ago after he was found starving and wandering. At first, he seemed to have never lived in a home — he didn’t know couches or cuddling. Today, he happily lounges, cuddles, and sometimes sleeps in our bed. Goose is treat-motivated, knows commands, loves training games and scent work, and does best when he has a job. After daily activity, he has an excellent off-switch and typically sleeps from about 7pm–7am. NOTE: Goose requires a hound-experienced home. He has a history of resource guarding around high-value items & needs clear boundaries and management. He startles if touched while in deep sleep and should be woken verbally. He cannot live with or be around intact male dogs but loves a pack. Goose is vigilant and vocal, classic hound behavior. Our busy city with close neighbors and constant activity is not the right fit. He will thrive in a quiet, more rural environment
