Story
Winnie is both beautiful and sweet. She is estimated to be about 7 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. Winnie came in to our local shelter as a stray in January 2024. She was extremely emaciated, weighing only 37 pounds. And had horrible skin. She was also heartworm positive. Winnie has gained a healthy 30 pounds and her heartworm treatment is complete. She is now ready to find a home of her own. Winnie is extremely sweet and friendly with everyone she meets. Both dogs and people. We believe she was kept as an outside dog. She is strong on a leash and pulls a little. She is doing great with being housebroken, but does have accidents here and there. Winnie's ideal home would have a large, fenced yard as she loves to RUN!! She is an active dog and would love an active family. She does great with other dogs, but a submissive friend would work best for her. One that will give her space when she needs it and leaves her alone when she's sleeping. Winnie would be an amazing family member. If interested, please send email inquiries only

Story
We got Major when he was a new puppy (only a couple weeks old). He has be our family pet for four years now. We are moving and he cannot come with us unfortunately. He loves to lick everyone he meets especially mom and dad. Very energetic and sweet. He has never bitten anyone. He likes to bark and be stand-offish when someone rings the doorbell or walks in from of the window. He is crate trained and at home we are voice controlled. He needs a family to play and give him the attention he deserves.

Story
"Buongiorno!" That's Italian for "good day." I'm Lambo, short for Lamborghini, the luxury sports car that can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Unlike my namesake, I require no gas or oil, and the payback is lots of luv, which has no price tag. At the moment I'm parked at spcaflorida's large dog kennel and looking for a human with wheels to drive me to my furever home. Playful, affectionate, and cuddly describe me accurately. Fill my toy box with soft, stuffed animals and I'll luv them as much as I luv my humans. My human family tree should consist of only adults. You can pet me all over and I'll be ecstatic and snuggly or I'm happy to just lay at your feet and enjoy the sunshine. Full disclosure: I'm afraid of vacuum cleaners, thunderstorms and young 'uns. I've been treated for heartworms but no worries anymore!

Story
In one of the "Dirty Harry" movies, Clint Eastwood's signature quotes is, "Do you feel lucky?" Yup, I do feel that way because my name is Lucky and I'm confident I'll be going home soon. I'm a two-year-old black mouth cur male who tips the scales at 53 pounds. Since I'm hard wired with a strong prey drive, please keep me away from cats and farm critters. I'm super energetic but luv to chill with my humans for an epic cuddlethon enhanced with my favorite treats- greenies. Pet me anywhere and I'll be your bestie. I understand some basic commands but we can bond when you teach me more. I am selective about my doggie friends. I'm a tad shy from the get-go so need to warm up to strangers (people and canine) on my own terms. So we can both get lucky when you visit me soon. Woof!

Story
Meet Hope! Hope is a 1 year old, 40 lb. Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for her forever home. Hope is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is happiest when she is getting love and attention. Hope does not to spend long ahours alone an needs someone that is home often. She is curious and full of puppy energy and needs stimulation and activity to keep her happy and busy. Hope can walk on a leash, but doesn't enjoy long walks. She does love chasing balls and playing with other dogs, so a fenced yard is required. Hope has done well around big and small dogs, but does best with another playful dog that can keep up with her energy. She is crate trained and is potty trained as long as you keep her on a consistent schedule. Being still an oversized baby, Hope is looking for a home with a person who can spend time with her and teach her puppy manners. Hope has not been around cats in the home, but has ignored cats on walks. Hope needs a home without small children as she is still learning to not jump up when she is excited. Hope is very loyal and protective of her person and needs slow introductions with new people.Hope's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, rabies and DHPP, and microchip. To meet Hope fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.Please NOTE: PPH does not adopt dogs to homes farther than a 1 hour drive from Tampa, FL.April 24, 2024, 6:15 am
