This is Chiyo, our sweet and gentle girl. She was abandoned by her previous owner and came into our lives needing a safe, loving home. In the time of her being with us, she has been a calm, affectionate, and well behaved dog. She has been around our two children regularly and has never shown any aggression no bites, no accidents, and no behavioral issues. She’s very chill, loving, and enjoys being around people. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move and changes in our situation, we are no longer able to give Chiyo the care and stability she deserves. This decision has been very hard for our family, but we want to make sure she goes to a home where she will be loved and cared for long term. We will provide her kennel, food, toys, and all her supplies to help make her transition easier. Chiyo would do best in a loving home where she can continue to get attention and affection. Kola is a 7 1/2 year old black mouth cur mix who weighs 54 lbs. She is very affectionate & sweet, a big lap dog. She loves everyone & gets along with dogs of all ages & sizes. Prior to Kola joining our rescue she had 2 small masses removed, 1 came back as mast cell with dirty margins but low grade. Last radiographs were done in September and there were no signs of metastasis. She is currently on a regimen of OTC meds for the mast cell and gets skin flare ups every few months that require Cytopoint injections. She’s spayed, UTD on vaccines & has good bloodwork. I’m playful, sweet, nurturing, friendly, and a little laid-back too. I love to run, play with my doggy friends (small dogs only please), and then come right back to curl up next to you for cuddles. Being close to my people is my favorite thing ever. I know some commands like sit, down, and stay, and I’m crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. I do really well with kids of all ages and I’m gentle and loving with my family. My dream home? An active family with a fenced yard where I can zoom around, and a small dog sibling to play with would be perfect. I don’t do cats, but I promise to give you all my love instead. Sometimes when I’m bored I might chew on things I shouldn’t, but I mostly stick to my toys. A word from my foster: “If I could have her walk around with a daisy on her head every day, I would. She is precious, pure perfection in every way. She’ll shower you with love and always wants to be right by your side.
