Story
Ranger is the last of 11 puppies, from a surprise litter. His mom was a rescue, a medium sized hound mix of some kind. I do t know about his dad. He weighs about 80 pounds, but thinks he's a lap dog. He got along just fine with a 5 year old boy for these 18 months, as well as a group of dogs, all his siblings.

Story
Benji is a 5-year-old medium-sized Black Mouth Cur. He came to us after ending up at a local shelter as a stray, but the shelter was just too stressful for him after a few months. He is a very sweet boy and loves human attention. He is definitely a lap dog and a great snuggler. He is probably dog selective and may do okay with another dog who respects his personal space, but he'd be just as happy as a single dog. He's a great boy who looks to his humans for guidance and direction. If you are interested in Benji, please fill out an application on-line at www.puppyhillfarm.com.Visit us at the Gainesville Petsmart on Archer Rd Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays Noon to 5 pm. King recently came to us from a local animal control. He is around 1-2-years-old and heart worm positive. He is very sweet and needing a tad bit of confidence. He loves toys and seems to be okay with other dogs. He will be starting heart worm treatment soon and would love a foster where he can relax while he recovers. Chip is a loving dog, shy at first but loyal to you. He loves the outside and running around with dogs, he also loves to chew. But also lays around you for comfort, such a clingy boy. Chip is also very smart, learned to sit, down, and up in two days. He is slowly learning to be more open around other people. His favorite word is 'Good Boy,' his tail swings with so much joy when he hears those words.Chip is coming up on 8-months-old and shouldn't be more than 50-55lbs when fully grown.Visit us at the Gainesville Petsmart on Archer Rd Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays Noon to 5 pm. Story
Precious had a rough life before Pet Rescue North. She was found in a dumpster. She prefers ladies to men and has a history of biting men on their butts. Men in baseball hats make her nervous. However, after building trust, she is very loving and affectionate. The more love and attention she receives from a volunteer, the more she seeks it. Precious is a senior lady and is available for adoption, foster, or sponsor. When forever fostered, you supply the loving home and we pay for the medical care when taken to our vet. To adopt or foster, you must have a fenced yard, a vet reference, no small children in the home and be a permanent resident of the Jax area.

Story
Meet Oswald, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. This lovable fellow is believed to be a fun blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Great Dane, though it is his Ridgeback side that shines through most prominently. His coat boasts a striking red sable coloring, a rich blend of reddish- brown with distinctive black-tipped fur and a stunning face mask. Although he is a larger dog, Oswald exudes a certain grace that is a joy to watch. His eyes, large and inquisitive, reflect the kindness and intelligence that radiates from within. Oswald's affectionate nature is undeniable; he's quick to offer love and companionship to anyone and everyone he meets. While Oswald's size and exuberance may require a bit of understanding, especially with smaller children, his amiable nature makes him a wonderful companion for families with prior experience handling larger breeds. This delightful pup enjoys the companionship of other dogs, once they have been properly introduced. He has had some struggles with dog reactivity, but is doing great with training, and will only continue to improve with a consistent, patient, and strong owner. He has not spent much time inside around cats, but is comfortable seeing and walking near them while on outside. When it comes to care, Oswald is fine with a quiet day inside, but also loves to get out, whether it’s the beach or a local walking trail. On walks, he's a model of composure, walking wonderfully on leash and very responsive to corrections. In essence, Oswald is an absolute sweetheart just looking for his forever people. Story
Hey there, my name is Willie! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from SAFE Animal Shelter and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in June of this year, I've decided I would much rather be a family companion over having to work for a living. As a happy go lucky boy, I enjoy playing with new dog friends, getting the zoomies and even snuggling with my human companion afterwards. I love to play with stuffies and sling them around, keeping myself entertained for hours on end! I love playing with new friends, meeting people and would be perfect companion to bring on adventures. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home. If you are considering adopting Willie, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to help find your furever friend!
