We are looking to rehome our sweet dog who we had rescued a few years back due to an upcoming change in our family, we are expecting a baby soon, and after much consideration, we believe this is the safest and most loving decision for everyone, including her. She is about 6 years old, a Black Mouth Cur, and had a rough start to life before we rescued her. Despite her difficult beginnings, she has become a very sweet, loving, loyal, and affectionate dog. She is decently trained and loves to cuddle, but she does have some behavioral challenges, including reactivity, anxiety and can be selective with other dogs. We are unsure how she is with cats, and she would do best in a home without young children. Ideally, she would thrive in a single-dog home with someone who is patient, active, and experienced with reactive behaviors or willing to work with her on training. We are committed to placing her in a safe, loving home where she can continue to grow.
