When we first rescued Marcus, (the day he was going to be euthanized) he had numerous puncture wounds believed to be from a pellet gun and/or dog bites, apparent chemical burns, cuts and tears, and malnourished at 20 lbs underweight. Yet even after all that, he is SO sweet to humans. We were asked to help Marcus because the folks at the shelter saw that this sweet guy did not deserve to be put down!! Now Marcus is in a foster home where he is able to be a normal dog, he is able to have frequent training and lots of love, attention, and exercise- which is what every happy dog needs! Marcus is about 3 years old, and now weighs about 55 lbs. Marcus is extremely affectionate and eager to please people. He definitely will need to be in a home with a fenced in back yard. Marcus loves to be outside and roll in the grass, and he gets very excited about squeaky toys! Marcus needs to be the only dog in the home. f you've been following Moonchild's story, you know that she's a very special dog to us! Some of you may remember this nameless girl, found fending for herself in the woods, fighting off coyotes and rattlesnakes, alone and scared. She was found and brought to the nearest animal shelter, where she was soon to be euthanized. Linus & Friends saw her and knew we had to get her out of there. So, we did! We named her Moonchild after the Childlike Empress from the Neverending Story, who also didn’t have a name until the end of the movie. Moonchild is currently in training and wants to go to her new forever home when she's done! Who wants to play??? Moonchild is: > 1.5 years old > 56 lbs-ish > energetic, loving, playful. The smaller of the two sisters, she is an inquisitive girl who loves to play hard with other dogs and is fine doing her own thing. What's that noise? Toffee will go exploring! Is this a new game? Toffee will figure it out! Toffee is a very trusting little box of sugar and spice and everything nice! She is an independent lady that just wants to live the good life with you. She's also never met a toy or a stick she didn't like. Toffee would likely be fine as the only pup in your home, or also as a fabulous companion to play with your current pup. Toffee is potty trained (though it does take her a few hours to get used to a new environment) and is currently working on her leash-walking skills! Toffee is around 6 months old (DOB 06/30/2022), UTD with puppy vaccinations, spayed & microchipped. Toffee's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption   Obedience training is also required for all our pups.    Please email us the completion certificate.
