Story
Hi, I'm Precious! I am a 5 month old Black Mouth Cur mix. I came to the shelter with my 7 other siblings! I'm still a puppy, full of energy and love. I love to play, and I'm always up for a good game. I'm sweet and cuddly, too. I love to curl up in a warm lap and give lots of puppy kisses. I'm a quick learner, too. I'm potty trained as long as I am kept on a good scheuldue. I am also crate trained, so I won't make a mess in your house. I promise to be a good girl and make you proud. I'm just looking for a family to love me as much as I'll love them. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love into your life. So, what do you say? Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
