Story
This is Baby Girl. She was saved by a caring person who didn’t want to see her shot (yes, they still do that down in the rural south) because she was a stray. She’s a bit on the shy side, but warms up quicker if you have a treat for her. Baby Girl gets along fine with other dogs and also gets along with kids as young as a toddler. We don’t know what she thinks about cats. She’s a wonderful girl that would make a wonderful addition to a family!! Baby Girl is about 5 months old and 25 pounds. Please help Baby Girl find the loving home she deserves.
From Baby Girl's foster: "She has been the easiest puppy, except for when she loses her balls under the furniture! She is on a great schedule, sleeping through the night in her bedroom crate, no accidents in the house and loving to play with all of her toys while taking brief siestas ( in her other crate) to recharge. She plays in the yard with her favorite ball and does zoomies. She would love to have a dog friend, or someone to play fetch and go on walks/hikes with her. She is so inquisitive and observant - to watching squirrels and birds outside, then watching Jeopardy on TV with us in the evening! She continues to learn as she grows (now 30 lbs at 5-6 months old), working on Off, Sit, Paw and ringing the jingle bell hanging on the back door to go outside. She continues to be a non-barker, except for when the doorbell rings. She is just such a terrific all around pup and will be the perfect companion for some individual or family!"
Update: Baby Girl tested positive for Lyme's and already completed her course of treatment. She is doing and feeling great. Baby Girl is available to be adopted.
