*****Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Juice (known by his foster as Joey), a neutered 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing about 56 lbs, with soulful eyes and a heart that just wants to feel safe. He’s a sweet, charming boy who’s been through a lot and is ready for a calm, loving home where he can finally settle in and be someone’s whole world. Juice is affectionate, cuddly, and loves his toys, but his favorite thing is quietly hanging out with his person, and he loves resting his head and paw on your arm like his own little love language. He can be shy and wary with new people at first. Slow, gentle introductions help him build trust, and once he does, he is deeply loyal and devoted. Juice played with neighborhood dogs, including a larger husky. His play style was bouncy and rough. He has become more fearful around unfamiliar dogs and prefers his space, especially near his crate. He’s seems to ignores smaller dogs, and would be happiest as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. Juice is not cat friendly and will chase, so a cat-free home is required for him. Juice has an average energy level and is happy with moderate daily activity. He does pull on leash when excited and has been working on that. He responds best to patience and kindness, as harsh correction can cause him to cower and feel guilty. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing, although he does sleep well in there through the night. He’s had some potty accidents. Juice does great in the car but may need assistance getting in. He's always ready for a ride. Juice has only shown some food aggression with other dogs, but with stability and routine he’s made great progress. He eats separately in his crate. He may still guard high-value treats, which is easily managed with respect for his boundaries. Juice would do best in a quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He’s not a “problem dog” he’s a sensitive soul who just needs the right person to make him feel safe, loved, and chosen. Give Juice that, and he’ll give you his whole heart. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Story
Oh my gosh do we have a treat for you!  Anyone that spends time looking at our website for our beautiful adoptable dogs might remember our exquisite Fairy Dust!  Fairy Dust found her furever home and now her equally handsome brother, Victor, is with us in the rescue. Victor is 9 months old and is tall and very lanky weighing in at 31 lbs. His legs go on forever! He is proving to be growing very tall and very fast!  Because he is growing so fast, it has been a chore for his foster Mom to keep him at a good weight.  Victor loves mealtimes and is very food motivated.  He loves his food so much that we think it is best to feed Victor separate from other dogs.  In the alternative, you could opt to stay right with him while he eats placing him far enough away from other dogs .  Victor has been known to leave his own food bowl and try to go eat his sister's food even though he still has food in his bowl!  He can be a bit of a stinker at feeding time if his sister is nearby!   Victor is a big cuddle bug who loves to crawl up on the couch to lay in your lap! He has no problem taking advantage of as much attention as you are willing to give. Victor does occasionally like to play a game of fetch!  He is still a puppy so he does need patience, structure and lots of love.  Victor walks well on a leash and is great with kids and adults alike.  When he is in his crate, he will bark if strangers come in the house but when out of the crate, he is fine.  He will also bark at his foster Mom's cat when he is in his crate but once outside, he is fine with the cat too.  He enjoys toys but the plushies share a horrific fate with this boy!   In August, 2025, Seventh Heaven was able to save Victor from a fate no dog wants to find itself in...that being on a euthanasia list.  His foster Mom doesn't think at this time that Victor would be able to be in a crate for eight hours a day.  He would do best in a home where someone was around to keep his potty training on track and to guide him through the "puppy phase."  An active family would be perfect for Victor! If you think that Victor would be a perfect addition to your family, please take a moment to complete an adoption application for him.  His adoption fee of $500.00 covers medical care up to adoption, neutering, microchipping, foster care and transportation to New York.  Victor, like all of our amazing dogs in the rescue, are so deserving of a new start in life to make up for the adversity they have faced.  It is Victor's turn now! ##2559080##

Story
Roscoe is a sweet young 17 month old boy found on the run from the same place in Louisiana that Liberty came from.  There is a thought that he may be Liberty's sibling.  Roscoe is very shy and needs time to warm up but when he does, he demonstrates that he is a very gentle and calm soul.  Roscoe loves to snuggle with his humans and loves to give kisses! Roscoe gets along with other dogs and he so wants to have a playmate all to himself to run around in the yard with!  Roscoe possesses so many positives....he keeps his kennel clean, he enjoys being in his crate (but does want the door left open when he is alone), he loves chewing on bones and playing with toys and, most importantly, he does well with kids and dogs alike!  How does it get better than that?  Unfortunately, he isn't a fan of the feline persuasion and is fearful of loud noises.   Roscoe needs someone who will take the time to help him build confidence in himself and to show him that he is safe and secure and that his days of fending for himself are over.  Roscoe made his way to New York to find his forever home and is currently being fostered.  Please help us make his dream of his own humans and his own home a reality.  You won't be disappointed with this gem of a boy.  His $475 adoption fee covers medical care including vaccines, microchip, neuter, foster care and transportation to New York.  If you would like to add Roscoe to your family, he is waiting patiently for you!  Please fill out an adoption application today! ##2291489##
