Story
Meet Trisha Yearwood Trisha Yearwood was the last born of Reba’s litter of 8, and she is one of “the twins.” The last two puppies born looked almost identical, and this tiny girl has always been extra special. Her mom, Reba, was rescued from the shelter after being there for about a month. When Reba was picked up, she appeared pregnant, and a vet visit confirmed she was a little over halfway through her pregnancy. Reba went to her foster home and, right on time, delivered 8 healthy puppies in the bathroom. It was quick, easy, and everyone was healthy as could be. Reba was a wonderful mom, and each puppy has grown into their own unique personality. About Trisha Yearwood•     Born: March 29, 2026•     Age: 13 weeks•     Weight: 6 lbs•     Last born of the litter•     Known as: One of “the twins”•     Coloring: Mostly black with brindle socks•     Build: Tiny with short, stubby legs•     Fully vaccinated•     On heart-worm prevention•     Eating: Science Diet puppy food Personality•     The sweetest little girl•     Very confident despite her tiny size•     Loves to march around like she is the boss•     Curious and loves exploring outside•     Enjoys going for walks•     Loves chewing on bones•     Loves sleeping in a lap•     Very used to being carried around and close to people•     Loves playing with dogs her size•     Does well around bigger calm dogs too Home Life & Training•     Leash trained•     Does well in a crate at night•     Good in her crate during the day as needed•     Mostly potty trained•    ‍‍ Very people-oriented from all the one-on-one care she received•     Used to navigating a home with dogs of different sizesAt about 6 weeks old, as she was weaning, Trisha Yearwood had a rough start. She began losing weight and was not thriving like her siblings. A vet visit revealed an infection, and her foster family had to work hard to help her recover. She was pulled from the litter and kept in a crate right next to her foster at all times, receiving constant care and attention. This tiny girl proved she is a fighter. She pulled through, and although her early struggle left her with a bit of stunted growth, she is healthy now — just extra small. Because she was carried around and cared for so closely during her recovery, she is very comfortable being with people and loves being held, cuddled, and close.Trisha Yearwood may be little, but her personality is mighty. She is sweet, confident, curious, and full of life. Reba may have had a rough start, and this little girl had her own fight too, but she came through it beautifully. Now she is ready for a forever family who will love her tiny body, big spirit, and sweet little heart. Fill out an adoption application to join your family.  Her $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY when medically ready. ##2708140##

Story
Meet Reba Reba has spent her life taking care of everyone else. Now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s beloved family dog. After spending nearly 5 weeks in a shelter, Reba was pulled into foster care for a fresh start. On the way to her veterinary appointment, it became obvious she was carrying more than a few extra pounds. An examination confirmed she was over halfway through her pregnancy. She was also diagnosed as heartworm positive, but that didn’t stop her from settling into foster care with her calm, gentle nature. Not long after arriving, Reba delivered 8 beautiful puppies in a quick, uncomplicated labor. She proved to be an exceptional mother—attentive, patient, and loving. She kept her babies clean, well-fed, and safe until they were ready to begin their own journeys. Once her puppies were weaned, Reba began her heartworm treatment and is now ready to find a family of her own. About Reba * Believed to be a 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback* Gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet* Adjusts quickly to new environments and routines* Gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages* Cats are not recommended—she isn’t overly fond of them* Walks beautifully on a leash and also enjoys a securely fenced yard* Quick learner who enjoys pleasing her people* Crate trained and happily goes to her kennel when told “Kennel”* Can also be left out in the home with no issues* Eats Purina Dog Chow and does well eating alongside other dogs* Fully vaccinated* On heartworm prevention* Spayed Reba has endured more than most dogs should, yet she remains trusting, affectionate, and ready to love. She doesn’t ask for much—a soft bed, a kind family, and the chance to spend the rest of her life simply being someone’s cherished companion. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Reba is ready to meet you. If you would like her to join your family fill out an adoption application.  She is HW+ and currently receiving heartworm treatment in Louisiana which will be complete on 9/3/26.  Her $350 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, heartworm treatment, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2677598##

Story
Nova is a 2-year-old bundle of energy weighing about 55 pounds and is ready to blast off into her next adventure! This sweet girl loves people, loves treats, and loves to run. If you`ve been searching for a jogging partner or an active companion, Nova might be your perfect match. She`s easy to harness up and heads out ready to move! While this Vizsla mix enjoys running for much of her walk, but knows to stop for for pictures, treats, and when her running buddy needs a break. She knows `sit` and is getting better every day about sitting politely for her favorite snacks (which she absolutely adores). Nova is very people-friendly and enjoys affection - especially after she`s had a chance to burn off some of her zoomies. She doesn`t mind the cold or snow either, making her a great year-round adventure buddy. If you`re ready for an affectionate, treat-motivated best friend who will keep life exciting, Nova is waiting to meet

Story
*****Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Juice (known by his foster as Joey), a neutered 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing about 56 lbs, with soulful eyes and a heart that just wants to feel safe. He’s a sweet, charming boy who’s been through a lot and is ready for a calm, loving home where he can finally settle in and be someone’s whole world. Juice is affectionate, cuddly, and loves his toys, but his favorite thing is quietly hanging out with his person, and he loves resting his head and paw on your arm like his own little love language. He can be shy and wary with new people at first. Slow, gentle introductions help him build trust, and once he does, he is deeply loyal and devoted. Juice played with neighborhood dogs, including a larger husky. His play style was bouncy and rough. He has become more fearful around unfamiliar dogs and prefers his space, especially near his crate. He’s seems to ignores smaller dogs, and would be happiest as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. Juice is not cat friendly and will chase, so a cat-free home is required for him. Juice has an average energy level and is happy with moderate daily activity. He does pull on leash when excited and has been working on that. He responds best to patience and kindness, as harsh correction can cause him to cower and feel guilty. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing, although he does sleep well in there through the night. He’s had some potty accidents. Juice does great in the car but may need assistance getting in. He's always ready for a ride. Juice has only shown some food aggression with other dogs, but with stability and routine he’s made great progress. He eats separately in his crate. He may still guard high-value treats, which is easily managed with respect for his boundaries. Juice would do best in a quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He’s not a “problem dog” he’s a sensitive soul who just needs the right person to make him feel safe, loved, and chosen. Give Juice that, and he’ll give you his whole heart. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Meet Ripley (“Rip”) Ripley is a 4.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix weighing around 55 pounds, and he is one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet. Rip may be a little timid and shy when first meeting new people, but give him a little patience and kindness and he warms up quickly into an incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loving companion. Ripley has a low-to-medium energy level. He enjoys getting playful bursts of energy where he loves to run around and play with his dog friends, but he is just as happy lounging on a comfy dog bed — or curled up beside you in bed soaking up love and attention. He does great with other dogs and has done well with older children and teenagers. He may do fine with younger children too, but he has not been around many while in foster care. A home without cats would be best, as he does like to chase them, although he has never harmed one. Rip’s favorite things are treats, spending time with his person, and playing with his dog buddies. He would thrive in a calmer home where he can continue learning what peace, comfort, and security feel like. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a soft place to land and a family that will love him forever. Ripley is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. While he has occasionally figured out how to escape his crate, he has never been destructive or caused any damage in the home. Ripley’s story is heartbreaking, but his spirit is truly remarkable. For the first four years of his life, he lived chained outside. We learned about him after someone reached out to say his owners had moved away, taking the other dogs and leaving Rip behind on his chain in the middle of winter with very little shelter or food as a freezing storm approached. He also carries a scar on his back leg from an old injury that likely tells a painful story we’ll never fully know. Despite all of that, Ripley still chooses love. He still trusts. He still wants nothing more than to be close to his people and finally know what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and home. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Ripley may be your perfect match, fill out an adoption application.  He is also learning that car rides are not a negative thing but can be fun.  His $300 adoption fee covers medical up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana where he is currently to NY.   ##2644809##
