Abe is a very friendly, affectionate, adorable boy who loves to snuggle. He's scheduled and crate trained, and would do well in a calm environment. He has had a rough start in life and we're glad that his life turned around for the better since being rescued.Abe is good with some other dogs, especially if they are smaller than him and would also do well with older children. However, a home with no other pets preferred. He is the perfect size and that cute face and those soulful eyes will melt your heart!He is currently in a boarding facility in Augusta, Georgia and we would really love for him to be able to find a loving, forever home where he can get the love and attention that he deserves. Abe's adoption fee has been sponsored by a supporter of our rescue in the hopes of getting him out of boarding and into a forever home so there is no adoption fee. But application, references and home check apply!

Meet Volkie!Volkie is a 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This handsome boy loves adventure just as much as he loves cuddles — whether it’s a walk by the river, a camping trip, or curling up on the couch as the little spoon, Volkie is happiest when he’s with his person.He’s a smart pup who knows his commands in both English and German (and listens best to German!). Volkie is relatively low-energy day to day but plays hard when it’s time for fun. He loves tug-of-war and fetch, and his favorite toys are stuffed animals — especially ducks and octopuses — though he can’t resist removing all the stuffing. He’s a blanket-lover too, though it’s a supervised privilege since he sometimes decides they’re snacks.A true fashionista, Volkie enjoys showing off his style in sweaters, puffers, and even cozy pajamas when it’s chilly. He’s also a talker — expressive, vocal, and full of opinions, especially when he’s feeling playful or wants attention.Volkie is gentle with children and loves to show affection with kisses and “corn-cobbing.” He walks well on leash but can pull when he gets excited, so he’ll do best with someone who can confidently handle him. Luke is stunning and so sweet! He was abandoned by his owner and ended up in a local shelter. How anyone could leave this boy to basically fend for himself/die is beyond us! He is dog and people friendly and loves to cuddle! Luke is a fave at his foster home and a friend to all who meet him. He deserves a loving home with a lifelong commitment. We`ve promised him that. Nothing but the best for sweet Luke. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided. 4 yrs old, 60 lb.
