Story
Meet Toby, the charming Carolina Dog! Neutered and up to date on vaccinations, this handsome boy is ready to find his forever home. Born on 01/21/2021, Toby is a playful and energetic pup who loves to run and play! While he's dog-selective, he's a loyal and affectionate companion to his humans, and will thrive as an only dog. Toby loves spending time with older children (13+), but may need some decompression time before settling in. He requires slow and quiet introductions to new dogs and people, but once he's comfortable, he's a love sponge! Smart, curious, and athletic, Toby needs an adopter who will provide the patience, love, and attention he deserves. Will you be the one to give this special boy the best life ever?

Story
Meet Rover – Your Next Adventure Buddy! If you're looking for a loyal sidekick to share life's adventures, Rover is ready to fill that role. This handsome 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur has an athletic spirit, a gentle heart, and so much love to give the person willing to earn his trust. Rover naturally bonds with women and can be a little cautious around men at first, so he'll need a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he knows he's safe, his true personality shines. He becomes a faithful companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you're headed out for a hike, relaxing at home, or taking a drive around town. This active boy loves playing fetch, running, exploring, and splashing in the water. Lakes, pools, sprinklers—if there's water involved, Rover is all in! He also rides beautifully in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is always happy to tag along on new adventures. Rover loves other dogs that understand good manners. He enjoys friends who give him a little personal space at first and will quickly become their favorite play buddy. Dogs that constantly crowd him aren't his style, but respectful canine companions bring out his playful, fun-loving side. He's also lived peacefully with cats and chickens. Rover is potty trained, kennel trained, and well-mannered in the home. He could do very well in an apartment with someone who is home much of the day and committed to giving him daily exercise and enrichment. Because he can climb a 6-foot wooden privacy fence, supervised outdoor time or a very secure yard is important. Rover is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. All he's missing is someone to believe in him. Give Rover the chance he deserves, and you'll gain a loyal best friend for life. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Available in TX only! Beasley is an incredibly charming and easygoing dog! His affectionate nature, love for his foster family, and fondness for other dogs make him an ideal companion for an active and loving household. His preference for the outdoors and his independent yet sweet demeanor make him a unique and delightful pet. Beasley's love for giving hugs and his special bond he develops with any dog in his family is heartwarming. His laid-back attitude and preference for relaxed activities, like lounging in the sun or playing with his toys, make him a perfect fit for families or individuals who enjoy a more relaxed pace of life. Potential adopters for Beasley should consider his love for outdoor activities and ensure they can provide him with regular walks, playtime, and maybe even some pool time on hot days. It's also great that Beasley gets along with other dogs, although a meet-and-greet with any potential furry siblings would be a good idea to ensure compatibility. Beasley is new to being in a home and, like many rescue dogs, he might need some time to acclimate to his new surroundings. A patient adopter who is willing to work with him, provide gentle guidance, and shower him with love and understanding will be perfect for him. Patience and a calm approach will go a long way in helping Beasley build trust and feel secure in his new home. With the right environment and a caring adopter, Beasley is sure to blossom into an even more confident and loving companion. Beasley's desire for an even-matched pal and a comfortable bed highlights his simple yet meaningful needs. With his sweet demeanor and love for cuddles, Beasley is sure to bring endless joy and warmth to his forever family. Beasley is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, & on preventatives. Story
Meet Nala – A Loyal Heart Worth Waiting For Nala is a beautiful 4-year-old, 50-pound Basenji mix with a loving heart and a playful spirit. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Nala is being fostered in Seguin, Texas, and is available for adoption within Texas only. Nala is kennel trained, potty trained, and settles quietly in her crate after a day filled with fun. She loves to play, enjoys burning off her energy, and would be thrilled to have another playful dog as a companion. She has previously lived successfully with cats and has done well sharing her home with feline friends. Like many dogs who haven't always had an easy life, Nala is cautious when meeting new people. She needs a patient adopter who understands that trust isn't instant—it is earned through kindness, consistency, and time. Once you become part of her inner circle, Nala's loyalty is unmatched. She forms deep, lasting bonds and will be a devoted companion who loves with her whole heart. Nala does have some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys, so she will do best with an adopter who is experienced or willing to continue managing those behaviors appropriately. Her ideal home is a quiet household with one or two adults who will allow her to settle in at her own pace. A confident, playful canine companion would be a wonderful bonus. If you're looking for a dog whose love is genuine, earned, and incredibly rewarding, Nala may be the perfect match. Give her the fresh start she deserves, and she'll repay your patience with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love. Meet Jack! This guy here is a bundle of energy. He loves to run around and do zoomies. Once he has exhausted his energy, he does like to hang out and relax on the couch for lots of scratches and love. He is house trained. He does know some simple commands such as sit and stay. Will hand you his paw, if requested. We believe he was a homeless man's dog, and for whatever reason, he had to abandon him. But you can tell he was very loved and no signs of abuse. He is great with other dogs but tends to be a little hanzy with his paws. Loves to give all the other dogs lots of kisses. But will quickly sit if told to. No experience with cats, but i'm sure he will be fine. He does great with my grandchildren who are super young. He is now an inside dog and lives the comforts of inside.

Story
About a year ago, we took in this beautiful 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur after she was found as a stray. We've worked incredibly hard to help her succeed, including working with a professional trainer, consulting with a behaviorist, doing slow, neutral introductions, and providing consistent structure and training. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, she has not been able to peacefully coexist with our resident female dog. We believe she would thrive as the only dog in the home or possibly with a confident, dominant male dog after a proper introduction. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves her people. I don't know how she does with children.
