Eve is a super energetic, affectionate girl who loves being around people! She’s especially fond of kids and enjoys all the attention she can get. Eve would do best as the only pet in the home, as she does not get along well with other dogs and should also go to a cat-free household. Eve is housebroken and crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. Like many hounds, she sometimes follows her nose more than her ears, so a patient owner who can help her stay focused will be ideal. She can be a bit of a chewer, but she makes up for it with her love of cuddles and her happy, outgoing personality. Eve is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm negative. She’s ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and energy to her new home!

Kuchi Kopi was found as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. Since arriving, he’s shown himself to be a sweet, goofy guy who absolutely loves attention and companionship. He walks well on a leash and seems to be potty trained, which will help him transition smoothly into a new home. We’re unsure how he does in a crate, but he’s been adjusting well overall to the shelter environment. Kuchi Kopi does not seem to be dog-friendly at this time, though it's possible his behavior could improve in a less stressful home environment. We highly recommend a meet-and-greet with any current household dogs to ensure compatibility. His behavior with cats or livestock is currently unknown. Notably, Kuchi Kopi has a fully healed injury to his back right foot that occurred before his arrival. It doesn’t appear to bother him, and he gets around just fine. Kuchi Kopi is looking for a loving, attentive home where he can truly shine! Kuchi Kopi has been fully vaccinated. He is microchipped and neutered. He is heartworm negative and on prevention. Please Note: All adoptions are first come, first served on the day of availability. ECHS does not reserve animals for the public for any reason. Hickory is an adorable puppy who came to us with her siblings through no fault of her own, and she’s ready to find a family of her very own. She’s a classic happy pup — she loves to play hard with her dog friends and then crash for a well-earned nap. Hickory is good with other dogs but a doggy meet and greet is recommended. Her experience with cats, children, strangers, livestock, and grooming is currently unknown, so any introductions should be done thoughtfully and at her pace. Like most puppies, Hickory is still learning the basics. She may be partially housebroken but will need regular potty breaks and a consistent routine to help her succeed. She has not had formal behavior training yet and will thrive with a patient, committed family willing to put in the time and consistency all puppies need. When bored, Hickory can be a chewer, so appropriate outlets, enrichment, and supervision will be important. One important thing to note: Hickory has shown she can climb a chain-link fence, so a secure fencing setup is a must to keep this adventurous girl safe. Hickory is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. With the right training, structure, and love, she has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
