Sadie is a female spayed rhodesian ridgeback mix. She is super sweet and loves people. She was brought in because her owners didn't have enough time for her and felt it was unfair for her to be locked up all the time.

Story
**Located in Fort Worth, Texas** Sonny is beautiful and smart, trusting and has proven to be loyal and fun to be around. He's kind to his pack mates large and small, and is especially careful around the smallest dogs. He doesn't bother the house cats, either. Sonny's active and loves to run outside with the other big dogs, but settles down quickly inside. He also loves to go for runs and walks with you, or just sit next to you on the couch. He is bright and alert, and loves to eat, and has a permanent smile on his face, too! Sonny arrived 15 lbs lighter, but he's now a healthy muscular 50 lbs, hw negative, fully vetted, neutered and ready to live his best life with his forever hüman. ❤️ Sonny does well with his foster pack but would do best with one or 2 other dogs, or another dog and a cat, so he doesn't get lost in the crowd. He learns quickly and his new trick is eating a spoonful of dog food off of a spoon and sits patiently waiting his turn. Sonny knows "sit" and "off", and is working on learning the other basic commands. Open your heart and home to Sonny and it will be blue skies every day for you and your new best friend!

Petunia was dumped in our parking lot and left to run loose. She had demodex mange and took 2 months of medicated baths to heal, however she does still have some bald spots that may never grow hair back. Petunia loves attention and thinks she is a lap dog. She loves cuddling. While in her most recent foster, she was pretty laid back and didn't bark much at all. She can be grumpy in a new home with the other animals, but once she settles in, she loves to play. She has done well with dogs her size and cats but can be picky about the littler dogs if they get in her face. She did well around livestock in her foster home. She is not housebroken, and if free fed, will potty inside. Her foster said that keeping her on a schedule of feeding then going outside for a bit, she had less accidents in the house. She does not love being in a crate but will settle down pretty quickly. Petunia knows lots of tricks; the ones she has responded to well have been "sit", "shake", "lay", "stay", and "leave it". Petunia is spayed, vaccinated for DHPP and Bordetella, microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention. She is due for a rabies vaccination.

Quartz was found as a stray and not claimed. She has been incredibly skinny since intake and is receiving twice a day feedings, although she does not finish a meal usually. Her fosters made a note that she doesn't really eat her dry food unless it is mixed in with wet food. Her previous name was "Shenzi" which she does respond to. She does resource guard her food with the other dogs near her kennel. She has done okay with dogs in passing in a calmer setting, but has been dog reactive at the shelter. She is a very sweet lady and is very high energy. She knows "sit" and "shake." She is housetrained and did fine being left out in her foster home(any countertop food should be put above her reach). She will tear her way out of a crate if she is left unsupervised in one. She loves going on car rides and being able to stick her head out of the window. She loves being outside with her people, but if left unattended she will jump a fence. Her fosters said that she never barked while she was with them. Quartz would do best in an only pet home. Quartz loves cuddles. She is spayed, is microchipped, heartworm negative (also on prevention). She is up to date on her DHPP and Bordetella, but does need a rabies All adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Cinnamon is a sweet and loyal girl looking for a patient and understanding forever home. While she may be wary of new people, she shines outside of a home setting and loves going for walks. This protective pup values her people and space, which may lead to some aggression when introduced to new faces at home. She was found running after people on bikes, so a secure fence is a must for her safety. Although originally uncomfortable with crates, Cinnamon now sees them as a safe space during times of anxiety and does well being left in one. While she's not fully potty trained when left loose in the house, she's making progress with the right guidance. Once she warms up to you, Cinnamon will greet you with a tail wag and become a loyal companion. However, she's terrified of storms and may need extra reassurance during rough weather. Cinnamon would benefit from a home willing to work with her and possibly seek the guidance of a trainer to help her thrive. Spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and microchipped, Cinnamon is ready to embark on a new chapter in a loving and patient home.
