Romulus came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed, but he hasn’t let that dampen his happy spirit. He’s a sweet, playful puppy who absolutely loves his stuffed toys and will eagerly try to catch your attention as you walk by his kennel. His charm and puppy enthusiasm are hard to miss! As a young pup, Romulus is still learning the basics. He is not yet potty trained or leash trained, so his future family should be prepared to help him with training, patience, and consistency. He has not been officially tested with cats or other dogs. Romulus is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated, including rabies, and he has received 2 out of 3 of his DHPP vaccines. If you’re looking for a loving puppy who’s ready to grow, learn, and be your loyal companion, Romulus could be the perfect match for you!

Eve is a super energetic, affectionate girl who loves being around people! She’s especially fond of kids and enjoys all the attention she can get. Eve would do best as the only pet in the home, as she does not get along well with other dogs and should also go to a cat-free household. Eve is housebroken and crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. Like many hounds, she sometimes follows her nose more than her ears, so a patient owner who can help her stay focused will be ideal. She can be a bit of a chewer, but she makes up for it with her love of cuddles and her happy, outgoing personality. Eve is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm negative. She’s ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and energy to her new home!

Kuchi Kopi was found as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. Since arriving, he’s shown himself to be a sweet, goofy guy who absolutely loves attention and companionship. He walks well on a leash and seems to be potty trained, which will help him transition smoothly into a new home. We’re unsure how he does in a crate, but he’s been adjusting well overall to the shelter environment. Kuchi Kopi does not seem to be dog-friendly at this time, though it's possible his behavior could improve in a less stressful home environment. We highly recommend a meet-and-greet with any current household dogs to ensure compatibility. His behavior with cats or livestock is currently unknown. Notably, Kuchi Kopi has a fully healed injury to his back right foot that occurred before his arrival. It doesn’t appear to bother him, and he gets around just fine. Kuchi Kopi is looking for a loving, attentive home where he can truly shine! Kuchi Kopi has been fully vaccinated. He is microchipped and neutered. He is heartworm negative and on prevention. Please Note: All adoptions are first come, first served on the day of availability. ECHS does not reserve animals for the public for any reason. Availability is subject to change at ECHS's discretion.

Hickory is an adorable puppy who was surrendered to us along with her siblings—through no fault of their own. She’s a typical, happy little pup who loves to play hard with her littermates and then crash just as hard for a good nap. Like most puppies, Hickory is still learning the ropes—she hasn’t started potty training or behavior training yet, so she’ll need a patient family ready to guide her as she grows. She also knows how to climb a chain link fence, so a secure fence is a must. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Hickory is full of love, energy, and puppy potential—ready to become someone’s best friend for life.
