She is not one of those dogs that needs to have another dog in the home. KNOWN WITH CATS: Chloe has not been cat tested, so we do not know how she will do. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Chloe was previously in a foster home with kids ages 10 and up and she loves them. She cuddled with them and liked to hang around them. She also slept in bed with one of the kids every night. KNOWN COMMANDS: Chloe knows how to sit, lay and stay and is treat motivated. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Chloe is completely house trained and crate trained KNOWN LIKES: Treats. Exercise. Mental and physical exercise. Dogs of all sizes. People of all ages once she gets to know them and feels safe and comfortable. Treats. Treats. Treats. KNOWN DISLIKES: Chloe does not like going into a car. She gets scared because she does not know where she is going. Once the car is moving, she settles down. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Chloe!!! She is an 11-month-old Black Mouth Cur about 43 pounds. Chloe is a sweet and friendly girl who will bark at you at first and then be your best friend after she sniffs you all over. Once she approves of you, watch out because she will give you tons of kisses. She may even push you over on the couch once you are sitting down of course to ensure you do not get up until she has finished giving you all the love and kisses. Chloe enjoys the company of other dogs; however, she can be the only dog in the home too. She is playful with other dogs and loves catch, tug of war and running around back yard. She is able to entertain herself too. Chloe co-habitats with children over 13. That is best for her as she can knock kids down when she is playing or trying to give her kisses. Most of all, Chloe loves her people. She enjoys sitting on their laps, next to them on the couch or laying next to their feet as they work from home. She is a people pleaser and wants to be around her people as much as possible. At bedtime, Chloe will snuggle up to you and keep you warm. Chloe is crate trained but does not like the crate. She does not like to feel closed in. She will get anxious in a crate, and we do not want her to feel that way. We understand this and do not want to force her to do anything she is not comfortable with. There are other ways to keep her from going into other rooms if needed. An interesting fun fact about Chloe is she enjoys eating fruit. She enjoys a good melon, watermelon, strawberry, bananas and more. While her foster family is outside enjoying their barbeque, Chloe is right by their side on the ground eating fruit or a burger. This lovable pooch is a true sweetheart. She is looking for a home where she can be loved and spoiled. She will be your best snuggly companion. She loves to eat any treats you offer, especially bananas! She is very treat motivated to learn new things and is very curious about the outdoors. Chloe's ideal home is one filled with love, attention and plenty of opportunities to play and explore. If you're searching for a loyal companion to bring joy and happiness into your life, look no further than Chloe!   Waylon is approximately 5 months old and 40 pounds. He is good with other dogs with proper introductions but can be  a little bit stingy with toys. He likes to run and will counter surfs a little bit and he's not a 100% house broken but we're working on that too. Currently living with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He wants to play with the cats but being so big it's not feasible. He takes correction and redirects well.. He already knows how to sit and wait for his food and his treats although he can get a little antsy. Waylon likes to sleep in the bed and will follow you from room to room. He's very attached to his person. He is currently teething so he has to be watched.  He is fully vetted including  neuter, microchip, all puppy vaccinations, as well as rabies vaccination. He would make a great addition to your family.   His adoption fee is $550 and includes his transportation to his new home in VA.  HE IS IN A LOVING FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HIS NEW HOME ONCE ADOPTED!  New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company.     You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! PIPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    This adorable girl is Piper. She is a stunning 2-year-old, 38lb Black Mouth Cur mix. She was pulled from a shelter back in August, and she was in pitiful shape: underweight and scared! That is NO MORE. Her foster mom has gotten her fattened up and healthy. She has helped build her confidence. Piper is now a well-rounded, wonderful dog.   She is a very energetic dog. She loves running and playing in the yard with her toys and fur siblings. She is house trained and is very good in the house. She is doing good on leash; she pulls a little, but we are working on that! She gets along good with other dogs. Her foster home also has two cats, and she has not bothered them beyond curiosity. She is playful and loves tug of war! She listens and learns easily. She would enjoy outdoor activities with her furever family. This girl gets compliments on her looks and mannerisms everywhere we go! Piper is going to make someone a great dog, no doubt.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, all shots including her rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Piper up north after she is adopted.  To apply to adopt Piper, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 1:03 pm

Story
Someone just dropped these two sweet brothers off and drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. At 10 pounds and 2 weeks old! A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course we had to say yes! Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are both just as sweet as pie, playful, love time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should this. These boys will need love and guidance, but we are positive that they are destined to be great dogs! They are being fostered in Tennessee, but they will be brought to your area by animal-friendly transport on the road - Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Just press the big button marked "Ask About Me" and we will get you the information on how to make Johnson your newest family member!

These pups are in Culpeper, Virginia too!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Introducing Adorable Sami Meet Sami, a delightful 1-year-old spayed female, a charming mix of Redbone and Harrier. This sweet girl was discovered as a stray and ended up in an overcrowded animal shelter, where, sadly, no one came forward to claim her, and there was little adoption interest. Despite being placed on the euthanasia list due to limited space and no reclaim, Sami's fate took a positive turn when she was transferred to our rescue. Sami is a joy to walk, settles well in her kennel, adores toys and affection, and is an absolute love bug. Not only is she friendly with both dogs and cats, but she also enjoys playful interactions with them. The mystery of how Sami ended up abandoned is perplexing, but what's clear is that this sweetheart is in need of a forever family committed to providing her the love and care she deserves. Sami has been fully vetted, spayed, and is now ready for a new home. If you feel a connection with this endearing girl, please visit our website at https://serendipityanimalrescue.org for more information or to submit an application.
