Hey everyone, meet JoJo! Do you love snacks? Then look no further, because this girl right here, was meant for you. Breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, dinner, midnight snacks are always welcome. This sweet girl has been in a loving home but due to a loss in the family and change in living circumstances, Miss JoJo finds herself looking for another one. She has not been around cats of small children, but has a naturally sweet disposition and gentle temperament. As a predominantly inside dog, JoJo is house trained but is used to spending time outside in a fenced yard. She has a playful personality and has played well with the other small dog that has lived with her. Please consider giving Miss JoJo a forever home to live out the best years of her life. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Story
I was left outside for a month last winter after my mom fell ill and was hospitalized. My sister Junebug and I had to fend for ourselves while the neighbors tried to keep us fed. After a month, I was picked up by rescue and brought into a home full of lots of dogs. I get along with everybody here and I have fun playing a daily game of fetch and going on a pack walk! I am really easy on a leash. I love to snuggle and get lots and lots of petting! I’m called a Velcro girl because I’m always at your side! I am happiest when I have my sister with me, I would love for the two of us to get adopted together. She is posted on here as well, her name is Junebug. We are 32 and 35 pounds, 3 1/2 years old. We need a fenced yard. although adopting two dogs at once may sound like a lot, it’s really just like adopting one dog. We keep each other company and keep each other happy and then put you in the middle and we smother you with love!! We go out at the same time and we eat at the same time… just like having one dog, lol! If you have room in your home in heart for us, please contact my Foster mom at irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application.

They had been living outside — no place for a vulnerable puppy who just wants love. Despite her rough start, Amelia is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive girl. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has a calm, loving nature that wins everyone over. Just look at that precious face and those soulful puppy eyes — she’ll melt your heart in an instant. Rhodesian Ridgeback American Pit Bull Terrier

Story
We rescued Chance 4 years ago and while he is such a good boy, we have really struggled to unlock him. We are experienced Pitt owners but the Rhodesian throws a stronger personality that while he listens he is very rambunctious and while he is good with our little boy, he is an 80 pound lap dog that wants to be the center of our world and doesn’t understand that our child comes first. He has not been aggressive towards our son at all, but he does need to be an ‘only child’. We call him Clydesdale because he’s very heavy footed and if you are smaller than he is, he will run right through you (or other dogs). So while he is ok with other dogs, he really is needy enough he needs to be an only dog. He is leash and kennel trained and would come with both as well as all of the dog food that we have. We hate rehoming him, but he needs a bigger home with someone who can be solely focused on him. If you want a pup that will play fetch all day and beg for more, he’s your dog!
