Story
Groot is a very loyal and protective dog. He loves kids but is weary around new adults. He was attacked and bitten by a loose dog that was trying to attack one of his humans. He led the other dog away from his human and came back injured but very triumphantly. He is approximately six years old. We got Groot when he was estimated to be one from the shelter. He is fixed but not up to date on his shots. Groot needs to go to a house with a backyard and a family with energy to play. He is currently in a small apartment when we had to downsize. We love Groot so much, but we just can’t provide the care and space that he deserves. He loves to play with balls and chew on his stuffed toys. He loves carrots, apples, and all meats. He does NOT like bananas. We would love to see Groot go to a loving home with young children who love to run in the backyard.

Story
Koda is a sweet, loving boy who loves to go for walks, hikes and play with toys. He's a very smart boy, who knows the basic commands. Koda is cuddly and loving with the people he knows, but he is a bit timid at first with strangers. Unfortunately this handsome boy is looking for a new home because he isn't getting along with his doggy brother. He gets along with his doggy sister and with a cat in his home, so we think he is dog-selective, or should only be with female dogs. He is almost 2 years old, and about 62 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Koda, please email Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 and let us know that you are interested in filling out an application on Koda.
